The SQUEEZE the ORANGE NBA Power Rankings have really no surprises for the beginning of FEBRUARY 2012. Although the the C's went on a tear behind the magnificent play of one the TRUTH...P2...Paul PIERCE. They have missed RONDO but one of the best COACHES in the NBA DOC RIVERS has them thinking NO ONE will feel sorry for you. The GREEN TEAM look like they might be in the middle of the pack in the EAST.
Another surprise is George KARL'S Denver NUGGETS and mascot ROCKY. The NUGGETS after making the 'MELO Trade at last seasons TRADE DEADLINE have reaped BIG BENEFITS from that TRADE and the BLUEDUDE would have to say the NUGGETS have gotten the best end of the DEAL. Barring some MIRACLE the KNICKS would have to pull off for the BLUEDUDE to change his mind the NUGGETS are right now a TOP 4 Seed in the WEST and LEGIT.

NOTE: In PARENTHESIS is MID JANUARY'S Ranking (Ranking ONLY the TOP 16 because of 16 TEAMS make the CUT)
1. THUNDER (1) 16-4: .800 Winning % and perhaps the BEST WEAPON in the NBA in K.D. mixed in with WESTBROOK and HARDEN...you have THUNDER so loud it may be the SONIC BOOM as someone may have just scrambled those B-1 BOMBERS from neighboring Tinker Air Force base. That's how the BLUEDUDE gets down....get you some AIR FORCE Knowledge BLUEDUDE SPORTS HEAD.
2. HEAT (4) 16-5: Until the BULLS can show me they can beat the HEAT the HEAT need to be in front of them and without a doubt the FRONT RUNNER to take home the LARRY O'BREIN. As much as the BLUEDUDE hates it it is reality that the HEAT continue to do what they do. Defensively what they did to the BULLS at times in that game was downright MICHEAL MYERS-esque.
3. BULLS (2) 18-5: They were a little bit out of sync of sorts and that had a lot to do with how the HEAT was playing Half Court and TRANSITION Defense. D-ROSE continues to amaze but he needs to also let his teammates become more involved OFFENSIVELY and he needs to quit taking all the BLAME for others shortcomings. Yeah he is a great teammate but everyone on the roster has an absorbent amount in their DIRECT DEPOSIT.
4. HAWKS (7) 16-6: These are NOT those SAME HAWKS from last years playoffs and enter the RETURN of the MAC...as in T-MAC. The HAWKS have New Firepower off that Bench coupled with a legit in the making POINT in TEAGUE. They do miss HORFORD but other guys have stepped up and they do have J and J THREE BALL and BLOCKAGE Company in Joe JOHNSON and Josh SMITH..that is JOSH SMIFFFFFFF if you see him in the HIT FACTORY in A T L.
5. CLIPPERS (13) 12-6: Don't look now and forget that DUNK the BLAKEshow had on PERK. The CLIPjoint is alive and well and they have a deep rotation at the GUARDS and the FORWARDS and will be a MAJOR Problem come winning Time. The BIG Question is can Coach Del NEGRO lead them DEEP into a WESTERN Conference Playoff Run?...they do HAVE CP3, Mr. BIG SHOT, MO-WILL, and FOYE directing TRAFFIC on the 405.
6. MAVERICKS (14) 14-8: I know hat your thinking how could you put the MAVS that high at 14-8 because they started at 1-4. Now ADD that up LOUD MOUTH. Don't cross that line until the BLUEDUDE tells you....the MAVS have been 13-4 since and they have DIRKiliscious and that is that BUGGLE GUM like GAME that is SWEET and in all flavors. BUBBLE YUM I just gave you one better go get DIRK he will have all of GERMANY buying that FLAVOR. They are a THREAT and they have something everyone wants...the O'BREIN Trophy.
7. PACERS (5) 14-6: They have a LEGITIMATE Closer in Danny GRANGER. They also have a low post presence with the newly acquired David WEST. They also have a BIG in Roy HIBBERT and a solid POINT in COLLISON. What Next...SEE me BULLS and HEAT..WE WILL be WAITING.
8. NUGGETS (10) 14-7: When the CARMELO Trade went down everyone in NYC was going BESERK. The MILE High CITY was losing what they thought was a FRANCHISE Player. 'Melo is a TOP 10 PLAYER but sorry to say this....he is the #1 GUY but also a #1 Piece to the PUZZLE. Now having said that the NUGGETS are the SUM of their PARTS and that is HALF the Promising KNICKS Roster form last year which is pretty darn good.
9. CELTICS (NR) 10-10: They have come along way and they have PROVEN TOP FLIGHT Guys who can motivate the other guys and get W's. They will always play D and they have a CLOSER in PAUL PIERCE and they have the best SNIPER the NBA has ever seen in SUGAR RAY from BRAND JORDAN Fame. They will be around for WINNING TIME Trust me on that.
10. 76ERS (8) 15-6: They have done a marvelous job and Coach COLLINS is at it again and has a plethora of young GUNS. But have you seen that 15-6 Schedule and it is not the SIXERS fault that they have this schedule. The ONLY game they have played that had a really good team was the HEAT and the SIXERS got BLOWN out by 30. Now you know why they are at 10 which is a nice spot.
11. LAKERS (6) 13-9: I am going to put it to you like this. OFFENSIVELY they are really VANILLA considering they ran that TRIANGLE Offense that has so many angles you can't really scout it. Now their SETS Offensively can be dissected and people know what they are trying to do. Mike BROWN system is not the KOBE System but the LAKERS play D. They must fix that 2-7 away from STAPLES in order to make a RUN.
12. JAZZ (9) 12-7: They have a lot of pieces but they have NOT put together a real run in the LEFT COLUMN. The LAST POLL they were 9-4 and since they have gone 3-3...DO the MATH. They are going to have to say sooner or later...WHAT ARE WE TRYING TO DO HERE?
13. MAGIC (3) 12-9: Is SUPERMAN of MOUSE TOWN leaving or going? Where is he going? First he say he is going nowhere than he says I would LOVE to play with DERRICK ROSE. Me to DWIGHT and I am over the NBA HILL. The MAGIC have to save face and do what they HAVE to do...MOVE HOWARD because this is going nowhere and evidently the MAGIC are going nowhere either.
14. SPURS (11) 13-9: What a RUN they had with DUNCAN. Bit now that RUN is over and they are doing it with HEAVY Tony PARKER, Guys with NO NAMES, and ROOKIES and 2nd Year Players. The SPURS will make the PLAYOFFS as a formality but will they be a THREAT?
15. ROCKETS (16) 12-9: They keep hanging around and they have some TALENT and VETS that have been there before. Scola and LOWERY are their two best players and the TEAM has to revolve around them. Can the ROCKETS scar anyone but themselves in WINNING Time.
16. TrailBLAZERS (12) 12-9: What happened since that NICE Hot START. The BLAZERS have a should-be ALL-STAR in LaMarcus ALDRIDGE and they have another All-STAR caliber in Gerald WALLACE. They must get better guard play moving forward and if they don't they will be medicore at best.

Agree with a majority of these rankings, I think the Mavs and Clips are a bit high though.
