It happens in every Professional Sport a TEAM gets a Huge Off-Season Move on their ROSTER and the FAN BASE goes Beserk. Then comes with that are the really cool NICKNAMES because their TEAM has a new identity.
FAST FORWARD to the Los Angeles STAPLES CENTER on FIGUEROA Street the HOME of the 17- Time NBA World CHAMPIONS and 22 Division TITLES. Oh and the other tenant in the STAPLES...the NEW CLIPPERS with a host of New Players and Identity and far removed from the L.A. SPORTS ARENA on FIGUEROA Street as well. The CLIPjoint as they called it was home to the CLIPS from 1984-99 and they won NO BANNERS in that JOINT.
Now we move to the 2012 NBA Season and a new day in LA COUNTY as the CLIPS have a better record than the LAKERS at 13-7 while the LAKEshow is 13-9. Imagine that all those BANNERS and L.A. is going beserk over these NICKNAMES....CP3....the BLAKEshow, Mr. BIG SHOT, and the BUTLER. Two RINGS on the SQUAD with the BUTLER and Mr.BIG SHOT claiming them. Then we eneter the STyle of play the CLIPPERS exhibit fast-breaking and up-tempo with a lot of LOBS for DUNKS. So now the CLIPS Faithful has given a name to their new team with promise....LOB CITY.
LOB City is a cool name and heck you might as well have fun with it even if it for a SEASON or Two because nothing is promised for tommorrow.

February 2, 2012...Location....L.A. COUNTY...FIGUEROA Street at the 10, the 105, the 405, the 91, and the 1..STAPLES Center aka LOB CITY:
Pushed around, moved around, and shoved around...the L.A. CLIPPERS were LOB CITY alright and the visiting NUGGETS didn't get the MEMO. A 21 Piece they put on LOB City and so much for nicknames as the NUGGETS challenged the CLIPS and the CLIPS were popped in their MUGS and couldn't get up.
NUGGETS were led by a balanced attack led by Italian Dino GALLANARI's 21 points (and I bet you KNICKS Fans would love to have that trade back), 18 points from the NBA's most underrated POINT GOD in TY LAWSON of FRANKLIN STreet Fame Chapel HILL NC. The NUGGETS just went into a gear in the 3rd Quarter that the CLIPS and LOB City were not accustomed to. The NUGGETS are a dangerous team and they have a TOP 5 X and O guy in George KARL who has had some really good teams out WEST and has seen it all.
Coach KARL coached LOB CITY on Performance Enhancers in the GLOVE Gary PAYTON and the REIGN MAN Shawn KEMP. LOB City is nothing new to him and Coach KARL and his NUGGETS last night payed NO ATTENTION to that.
The CLIPPERS were led by 18 from the BLAKEshow, 17 from Randy FOYE the pride of EAST ORANGE NJ, and 15 fro CP3. The NUGGETS move to an impressive 15-7 and LOB City after this CRIME SCENE goes to 13-7 and the RESTUARANT Business as they are now serving LOBSTERS instead of DUNKS.

LOB City...getting HAMMERED ONE game at a time.......CLIPS NATION look up in the RAFTERS at STAPLES and SLOW your ROLL a little.
