NFL WEEK 12 is the TURKEY DAY EDITION which features a NFC NORTH Showdown between the PACKERS at LIONS for NFC North Bragging Rights, a HOMECOMING GAME in DALLAS featuring the AQUA BOYZ and the 'BOYS, and 2 Brothers squaring off with DAD caught in the middle in the BIG CRAB CAKE in CHARM CITY with the GOLD RUSH and the RAVENS.
NFL WEEK 12 Schedule BREAKDOWN sponsored by 24 HR Smoked Turkey:
November 24, 2011 HAPPY THANKSGIVING from the BLUEDUDE and BLUEDUDE SPORTSTALK:
1230PM ET
PACKERS @ LIONS: 10-0 vs 7-3 and something has to give. The PACKERS are looking at the bigger picture and trying to sty ahead of the 49ers for the #1 Seed in the NFC. The LIONS are trying to hold off the BEARS for the TOP NFL WILD CARD in the NFC as this is the 1st of 2 against the PACK.
The PACKERS are banged up everywhere and they can still WIN with a minimal RUNNING ATTACK. The LIONS need to make this a low scoring slow-down tempo affair and force the PACKERS to play in a TIGHT GAME.
The LIONS need to use RB Kevin SMITH and that will open up the PASSING GAME for STAFFORD. The PACKERS D is opportunistic but you can move the ball on them. LIONS need 7's not 3's.
WINNER: LIONS 31-27.....and the MOTOR CITY goes straight BUTTERBALL for their LIONS
415PM ET
DOLPHINS @ COWBOYS: MIAMI comes in the NEW DOLPHINS as they have reeled off 3 in a row. The COWBOYS are on a winning streak themselves and they need this one to put all the PRESSURE on the G-MEN. Look for the COWBOYS to bring lots of pressure and force the DOLPHINS to throw with at least 8 in the BOX.
The COWBOYS need a ball-control physical brand of football and effiecency in the RED ZONE and force the AQUA BOYZ to p;lay from behind.
WINNER: 'BOYS 24-10
820ET PM
49ERS @ RAVENS: JIM vs JOHN...HARBAUGH BOWL 1....but forget all the FAMILY TIES....it's the #1 TEAM in the NFC WEST and #2 Team Overall in the NFL vs the #1 Team by tiebreaker in the AFC NORTH. A lot riding on this one and both teams know it. The NINERS trying to stay pace with the PACKERS and the RAVENS trying to stay ahead of the STEELERS and in the running for a 1st WEEK PLAYOFF BYE.
The NINERS need to establish RB GORE and utilize the SHort Passing Game. The RAVENS need some FIRE and try to match the NINERS because no one plays harder then these THROWBACK GOLD RUSH Bunch.
WINNER: PICK'EM.....a good old DONNYBROOK Here
NOVEMBER 27th 2011
1PM et
VIKES @ FALCONS: The FALCONS have 1 Goal and 1 Goal only...to get to WINNING TIME and nothing else. The VIKES are playing on FUMES and PRIDE you would think. The ROOKIE QB PONDER has looked beyond his years for the most part.
Look for the FALCONS to come out blazing and make the ALL DAY AP Less PURPLE PEOPLE play from behind with all the PRESSURE on them in the BIG BIRDCAGE in A T L.
WINNER: FALCONS 31-17
BROWNS @ BENGALS: Simply Put.....the BENGALS need to stay on course to keep up with the STEELERS and RAVENS for at least a WILD CARD Berth. The BROWNS Players are playing for JOBS next season as Mike HOLMGREN is watching who wants to stick around in CUYAHOGA COUNTY OHIO.
WINNER: BENGALS 23-20 they need to get to 7-4 after losing 2 in the DIVISION
PANTHERS @ COLTS: This game has to be on the PUBLIC BROADCASTING SYSTEM...aka PBS...D***
WINNER: TIE 0-0
TEXANS @ JAGS: The TEXANS have to see what they have minus QB SCHAUB because they will be hosting a PLAYOFF GAME. RB Arian FOSTER will have to work OVERTIME to keep the TEXANS Offense afloat. The TEXANS have no one in the DIVISION challenging them and they are rehearsing for WINNING TIME.
The JAGS are DONE there is no other way to slice it. As for this game WHO CARES I guess they can make life miserable for the TEXANS moving forward.
WINNER: 17-13 TEXANS
BILLS @ JETS: Just when the BILLS need a Winnable Game....they get the 5-5 JETS who still in SHCOK over getting TEBOWED in MILE HIGH last week. 2 Things.....the BILLS need a WIN and so do the JETS.......LINE UP GENTLEMAN
WINNER: JETS at Home 20-17
CARDINALS @ RAMS: on PBS........Another CHANNEL CHANGER
WINNER: Who ever isn't watching this GAME....YOU WILL WIN
BUCCANEERS @ TITANS: Can the TITANS make the AFC SOUTH a race down the STRETCH.....last week's loss to ATLANTA hurt their chances. The TITANS need to establish CJ28 and give rookie QB LOCKER some snaps if they are going the route I am thinking.
BUCS played with a little bit of FIRE vs the PACK last week and they need to get RB BLOUNT going in order to have any success on SUNDAY.
WINNER: BUCS 13-10
4PM ET
BEARS @ SILVER & BLACK: The BEARS will be keeping a close eye on that TURKEY DAY GAme in the D. The BEARS know with their remaining schedule and CUTLER out ALL HAND ON DECK is their battle cry. They need to a HEAVY DOSE of RB Matt FORTE along with a FEW DUFFEL BAGS of MONEY for him to have a chance at the RAIDERS.
The SILVER and BLACK are in the BLACK HOLE and they get a BIG WIN last week in the TWIN CITIES as well as QB Carson PALMER is getting his FEET under him. RB RUN DMC Darren MCfADDEN of PIG SOOIE Fame needs to be in the lineup for the RAIDERS to have a REALLY BIG EDGE. And if he is not look for a capable RB in MIKE BUSH to carry the load for the RAIDERS.
WINNER: RAIDERS 27-23....Riding that wave and they will be a tough out in WINNING TIME
REDSKINS @ SEAHAWKS: One thing is for certain...the HAWKS are BUILT PUGET SOUND TOUGH in KING COUNTY at the BIG COMMUNICATIONS Building QWEST FIELD aka the Big SEAHAWK Q.
The 'SKINS have a slim shot of getting back into the NFC EAST Race but anything can happen. The SEAHAWKS are playing for DRAFT PICKS and they need to keep winning at HOME for the sake of Protecting HOME TURF.
WINNER: SEAHAWKS...19-16
PATRIOTS @ EAGLES: Round 2....PHILLY NEEDS TO WIN OUT....the EAGELS have their work cut out but this is a winnable game and they know it. The PATRIOTS on the OTHER Hand are trying to get that 1st Round Bye in WINNING TIME as well as sty at the TOP of the AFC EAST.
In order for PHILLY to WIN RB McCOY has to be a big part of the PLANS. The PATRIOTS are in a GOOD PLACE and this one will be tough because the EAGLES Coners you would think would get chances with BRADY throwing the PIGSKIN a least 30-35 times.
They Both need this one......and WANTS IT the MOST?
WINNER: EAGLES...20-17....VINCE YOUNG carrying the LOAD
BRONCOS @ CHARGERS: You know the STORYLINE in this one...now who WINS. The CHARGERS and QB Phillip RIVERS have made too many turnovers and the D has been below average at best.
The BRONCOS are riding high and they may reel off enough to get into the PLAYOFFS and if they do TEBOW I think will be dangerous....REAL TALK.
WINNER: BRONCOS....6-3
820ET
STEELERS @ CHIEFS: Big BEN Broken THUMB....CHIEFS QB Cassell on IR....STEELERS can still be the #1 OVERALL SEED in the AFC and the CHIEFS are going no where which means they will pull out all the STOPS on TOMLIN'S Group.
Look for the STEELERS to establish MENDENHALL and the RUN GAME with that very fast AIR ATTACK. The CHIEFS have been playing HORRIBLE Down the STRETCH and the STEELERS are rested coming off of a BYE WEEK. ARRROWHEAD is a tough place to play and the STEELERS tend to lay down to their OPPONENTS level at times. DANGEROUS TIME for the STEELERS.
WINNER:27-6 STEEL CURTAIN too much BIG BEN and that D
NOVEMBER 28th 830PM ET
G-MEN @ WHO DAT?: They both need this one and the G-MEN need it in the WORST WAY with the COWBOYS and maybe the resurgent EAGLES chasing.
The SAINTS are trying to get a 1st round PLAYOFF BYE and they know if they knock off the GIANTS it will helkp their confidence moving forward reaffirm that they are an ELITE OUTFIT.
The NY FOOTBALL GIANTS let the EAGLES off the HOOK now they have to travel to the BIG EASY and try to match the SAINTS....a tough task. The G-MEN's Schedule down the stretch is the TOUGHEST on SUNDAYS and they need to stay focused GAME to GAME instead of looking ahead. They need this one way more than the SAINTS need it...WINNING TIME Football in NOVEMBER
WINNER: SAINTS at home......30-27
