It has come down to this COLOSSAL Match-Up between the LSU TIGER and the ALABAMA CRIMSON TIDE. But the BLUEDUDE is going to spoil the party for now. The LSU and 'BAMA Preview is for FRIDAY by its lonesome. Let's concentrate on other GAMES that will impact the TOP 25 and the BST or BCS as you know it as.
Fall Saturdays EDITION 9.....Week 10......the 1st Set of GAMES in the All Important NOVEMBER Stretch:
NOVEMBER 5th 2011
12PM ET
15 MICHIGAN @ IOWA: In order for the MAIZE and BLUE to stay in the ROSE BOWL and BIG 10 Championship Game HUNT...they must get this one. IOWA is coming off of an AVERAGE Stretch but KINNICK Stadium can be DANGEROUS for the Opposition. Look for COACH Hoke and the WOLVERINES to get out of the GATE FAST and cruise the rest of the WAY...and hopefully stay in the HUNT for the BCS and BIG 10 Championship Game in NAPTOWN.
WINNER: MAIZE and BLUE too much ROBINSON
330PM ET
4 STANFORD @ Oregon STATE: LUCK and Company are coming off of a HUGE WIN at the HANDS of the MEN of TROY and this smells like...and looks like...a TRAP GAME. If STANFORD RED and LUCK van stay o course....they will only have to take care of one more BIG ONE on the way to the BCS Rose BOWL or NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP Game in N'AWLINS...the QUACK ATTACK.....and write that DATE down.
WINNER: STANFORD running away and looking ahead at the QUACK ATTACK
Texas A&M @ 6 OKLAHOMA: WOW..look what 2 weeks brings...a home loss to TECH Red RAIDERS, a blowout ROAD WIN over then undefeated K-STATE, and then back in GOOD HANDS with the BCS and Polls to face an unranked but DANGEROUS 12th MAN out of College Station Texas.
SOONER QB Landry JONES and the OFFENSE must focus on the task at hand and that is to WIN out which includes a LATE WIN Possibly over in-state rival STILLWATER COWBOYS, and play in the BIG 12 Championship Game that precludes a trip to a BCS BOWL....and maybe just maybe N'AWLINS.
WINNER: SOONER too much at home....way too much at STAKE as well this late in the SEASON
715PM ET
9 South CAROLINA @ 7 AR-KANSAS: the OLD BALL COACH vs the 404 Bandit Bobby PETRINO and his HOGS: This one at least for the "COCKS of USC...is for the SEC EAST Stronghold over GEORGIA. As for PIG SOOIE.....they want to stay in the HUNT for a BCS BID and both TEAMS know it will be virtually impossible to LEAP FROG LSU or 'BAMA.
This game has huge BCS implications as well. Look for the key match-up to be..CAN the 'COCKS Defense STOP PIG SOOIE'S Offense.....who ever WINS that Battle...will probably WIN the Game.
WINNER: AR-KANSAS....the Loss of 'COCKS RB and SEC Rushing Leader Marcus LATTIMORE is too much to overcome for SPURRIER and his gang.
14 Kansas STATE @ 3 OKLAHOMA STATE: Have you ever been in competition and there is that team out there that you know if you give them your BEST SHOT it still may not be enough. Well for K-STATE if they are going to MAKE a STAND for the SEASON...no better time than now.
After getting anihalated by BOOMER SOONER last week in MANHATTAN....the WILDCATS can make their season and about 3-4 other teams season including the SOONERS. But going against Mike GUNDY'S group in STILLWATER..PRIMETIME is a TALL TASK.
The COWBOYS have WEAPONS all over the field, a seasoned QB that is older than 60% of the starting NFL QBs, and a nice run game. Put all that together with some SWAGGER......you might be looking at 60 PLUS on the BOARD from the BOYZ from STILLWATER.
K-STATE put out that fire or in the SPRING you will be known as the TEAM that the STATE of OKLAHOMA went over the CENTURY MARK combined....WELL OVER
WINNER: COWBOYS....too much FIREPOWER...and they thought BOOMER SOONER has some O....wait 'til they see this ORANGE and BLACK outfit.
LSU and ALABAMA Preview coming up FRIDAY...........BOOOOOOOOOOOM....in the SWOOSH will be in the BUILDING for that ONE and Pro Combat UNIFORMS and HELMETS
