Everyone had the Carolina Panthers bouncing back from a terrible showing n Big Bowl 50 and winning tonight's game as the Broncos had one Northwestern University QB Trevor Siemian behind center. Well after all the Intros and Pre-Game "Get Down" it was Siemian and the Broncos in dramatic fashion beating the Panthers 21-20 as it came down to the Kicker for Carolina and that flight back to the Queen City will be a long one...

Th first half played out the way the Panthers wanted it to as they led 17-7 at the midway point. QB Cameron Newton looked to be back to his old self as did WR Kelvin Benjamin and TE Greg Olsen. Denver on the other hand was simply striking out right outside the Red Zone on a few occasions talking turnovers and missed opportunities.

What kept the Orange Crush in the ball game was that running attack (Broncos RB CJ Anderson 20 carries 92 yards) that sliced and diced that Panthers front seven throughout the contest. Then in the 2nd Half the Broncos finally got to QB Cam with pressure packages as @MillerLite40 dba Von Miller got it going.

Throw in Siemian getting his game going and a Panthers Turnover the Broncos overcame a 10-point deficit in the 4th and scored 14 unanswered for a 21-17 lead in the 4th. The Panthers cut that to 21-20 on a FG by Graham Gano who later became the Goat missing a 50-yarder in the waning moments that had plenty of distance.

Denver moves to 1-0 and will face the Indy Colts on Week 2 in Denver. The Panthers dropping to 0-1 will get the 49ers in the Panthers home opener in week 2.
