The St. Louis Cardinals know its a marathon and not a sprint as do the Milwaukee Brewers. Having said that with the Brew Crew riding high and coming into the Series at 10-2 the Bulls Eye was on the Brewers and not the Redbirds as of Monday Morning.

Fast Forward to Hump Day in the Wee Hours as we go to press and a few Ballplayers who played Tonight go to Last Call! The Redbirds strike again and again its started from the Bump. Cards RHP Shelby Miller looking for Win #1 in 2014 gets it as he goes six innings allowing three hits and a run while striking out seven and walking three. The lone run he gave up was off the Ash, Maple, or Bamboo of Brew Crew Hot Corner Aramis Ramirez dba A-Ram nowadays in the 4th to make it 3-1 Redbirds.

That would be the only run the Brewers would get on this night as the Cards scored one run each in the 2nd through the 4th and that score of 3-1 held up until the Top half of the 9th. Cards OF Matt Holliday goes Solo Bomb with SS Jhonny Peralta going two-run Tater to end the scoring at 6-2 Cards. Brewers Starter Marco Estrada went six allowing five hits and those three early runs with a free pass and three K's.

Now the Cards (9-5) go for the Sweep on Hump Day as the Brew Crew (10-4) tries to stop the bleeding as it will be Joe Kelly for the Redbirds and Wily Peralta for "Fear the Beer".
