I remember when his late Father Moises Tatupu, USC Alum and Football Player and late Patriots Standout Fullback and Special Teams Player, called then Men of Troy Coach Pete Carroll and told him about his Son Lofa. Pete saw the Tape on Lofa, playing at the University of Maine for the Black Bears his Freshman Year, and it was a done deal. Lofa spent his next 3 Season as a Trojan playing for Carroll and USC.

After being drafted by the Seahawks and then Coach and GM Mike Holmgren...Lofa Tatupu flourished under Holmgren's Regime right out of the box. Now some 7 years later and after being released by the Seahawks in 2011 by his USC Head Coach Pete Carroll he spent the 2011 Season at Home in his Man Cave.

Now NFL.com is reporting the Atlanta Falcons have signed the Former Seahawk Pro-Bowler to a 2-Year Deal and he should have plenty left in the tank after resting all last season at his home.

Tatupu should fit nice playing Inside with Captain and Dirty Bird Leader ILB Curtis Lofton. Throw in the Bookends of John Abraham and Mizzou's Sean "Spoon" Witherspoon...the Falcons must have gotten that call from Jigga Man's Squeeze...Beyonce Knowles..."Let Me Upgrade Ya".

Only 29 Years old and a lot left in the ole' tank Tatupu should provide Leadership, great Run Support, and help on 3rd Down Passing Situations with the ability to play in space. Sometimes when you look at things all the way around Lofa probably needed a change of scenery and now the Falcons have given such he should take full advantage of it.
