The 83rd Mid Summer Classic is here and Kansas City will be on 100 until Wednesday Morning. Up first is the Home Run Derby presented by State Farm Insurance. Both Teams are led by Captains as the Al will be represented by Pinstripes 2B Robinson Cano and the NL will be represented by CF Matt Kemp.

The way Kauffman Stadium is set up the Power is in all Fields but stay away from Center Field obviously it is the Deepest Part of the Park. But the Temperature Tonight will be around the Mid 70s so the Pelota will still jump off the Lumber.

The Dimensions in Kauffman Stadium Home of the KC Royals:

Straightaway Left Field 330 Feet
Left Center 387 Feet

Center Field 410 Feet

Right Center 387 Feet
Straightaway Right Field 330 Feet

The Royals spent some $366 Million in Total renovations and it is a Beautiful Park with a Wet n Wild Waterfall as the Back Drop and and the Big Royal Logo as the Scoreboard.

Capacity of the New Kauffman Stadium is 40,230 w/ Standing Room counted as it will be more than packed Tonight.

The Hitters in Tonight's BOMB Contest are as Follows:

AL
R. Cano Yankees
M. Trumbo Angels
J. Bautista Blue Jays
P. Fielder Tigers

NL
M. Kemp Dodgers
C. Beltran Cardinals
C. Gonzalez Rockies
A. McCutchen Pirates

A Variety of Hitters right here as Fielder, Bautista, Kemp are Known Power-Hitters. Trumbo is the New Hitter on the Block with Cano, Gonzalez, and Beltran having subject to having a Power Outage.

Then there is Project A.M. of the Buccos..Andrew McCutchen who is all over the MLB Offensive Leader board as the Show has turned into the Matrix and he is every player on every team.

The 2012 HR Derby should be pretty exciting as it always is. Th Festivities kickoff at 8PM ET at New Kauffman Stadium.
