Week 5 in the NFL will be a tell tell sign for teams like the VIKES, COWBOYS, COLTS, and NINERS. The 2nd qtr of the season is about to begin and teams at or below .500 have to start putting it together.

BYE Week for Dolphins Pats Steelers Seahawks

Here are the WEEK 5 Match-ups:

OCTOBER 10 1PM ET

1. JAGS @ BILLS: Wow what do you call this one? The only reason for watching this game is for fantasy purposes for RB's Mo Jones-Drew and BILLS rookie CJ Spiller. This is the Law Firm Bowl of MALLETT, LUCK, & LOCKER LLC. where "When you need a QB we will supply you one".
WINNER: JAGS

2. G-MEN @ H-TOWN: Which Giants team will show up? The one that made the Bears look like a HS Team or the one that looked very lethargic against the COLTS and TITANS. Well they better figure it out because the NEW TEXANS are playing at such a high level I don't think there are too many teams better than them in the League right now. Giants have to stop RB Foster and contain Schaub and his weapons. The Giants offensively have to establish the run and open up the passing game down field with Hicks and Manningham.
WINNER: TEXANS

3. 2K10 CHIEFS @ COLTS: This is exactly what KC Head Coach Todd Haley wants a true measuring stick of his team at INDY. The COLTS will have better left all the BS in J-Ville because the CHIEFS are a really good team. Offensively KC must get something in this game instead of just relying on Defense and Special Teams. QB Cassell has not done much and he will be tested. The Colts on the other hand are having a "man we lost the big one last year and we feeling sorry for ourselves type attitude". They need to be more consistent and think the season is a sprint and not a marathon so INDY can put a couple of wins together.
WINNER: KC

4. BUCS @ THE JUNGLE: Or should I say at "CHUCKE CHEESE'S" as soft as the Bengals have looked on D. Head Coach Marvin Lewis is in a lame duck year with no contract past this year and he being of a defensive -minded coach the BENGALS are struggling. Offensively QB Palmer is Regressing at a fast pace. Yeah He and T O hooked up early and often last week foe an NFL Record but no balance on Offense. The BUCS and Head Coach Raheem Morris are getting it done. Coming off a tough week vs Pittsburgh, the BUCS will be ready for the BENGALS and the BENGALS better be ready. QB FREEMAN is a load and they have some weapons. The BUCS Defense is also creating Turnovers and they have to be licking their chops seeing film on the BUNGLES. Yeah i said it and you knew it was coming.
WINNER: BUCS

5.GB @ NATIONS CAPITAL: 'SKINS needed that one last week for not only McNAbb but from a team's perspective. Washington is locked and loaded on the Defensive side and will challenge the Aaron Rodgers lead PACKERS. The PACK have to quit relying on the Offense putting up points and the Defense getting back to the Basics. Dom Capers has to be worried about the lackluster play his defense has displayed in the first qtr of the season.
WINNER: REDSKINS

6. STL @ MOTOR CITY: The law of averages says the Lions will get this one. Coach Schwartz and his group have been playing well even though they are 0-4. The loss of QB Matthew Stafford in Week 1 was huge but QB Shaun Hill and rookie RB Jahvid Best have been plying well. The RAMS under Coach Spags have been buying into that OLD GIANTS Defensive talk that SPAGS has brought over. I know this they were right on in picking Mr. BRADFORD at #1 overall. The Rams are playing with a new attitude and the defense is looking descent. I would pick the Rams if they were at home but the LIONS have the Football Gods looking over them this week.
WINNER: LIONS

7. BEARS @ CAROLINA: JUST IN the Bears will go with QB Todd Collins in this one and if that offensive line doesn't hold up they will be drinking TOM COLLINS HIS BROTHER. Bears need to have the QB upright and create lanes for RB's. The defense has been playing well and the 2010-11 NFL Defensive Player of the year so far is Mr. JULIUS PEPPERS. Sorry dawg, all that $$$$$$$ is justified after thinking when you received it it wasn't. Hats off to GM Jerry Angelo for finally making a move before getting Fired after this season. Panthers played the Saints as tough as you can play them at the BIG EASY. The loss of the Little General wr STEVE SMITH will hurt them this week. And whatever happened to the best two-headed monster RB tandem I have seen in years in STEWART AND WILLIAMS. The Panthers won't have a chance in stopping MR. PEPPERS' HOMECOMING.
WINNER: MONSTERS

8. PEACH TREE BOYS @ DAWG POUND: Falcons watch yourselves in this one. I know they are wearing the same helmets and uniforms from the last time you pasted these fools. But there is something about these Browns they play faster and harder. QB Matt Ryan and RB Turner have to be consistent because Falcons D will show up. Remember that old sang, " THE EYE IN THE SKY DON'T LIE". Well when the Browns Players and Coaches look up that isn't a camera it's GM and President Mike HOLMGREN. Now you see why the BROWNS have a new attitude because if you don't you will in LAKE ERIE.
WINNER: FALCONS

9. ORANGE CRUSH @ RAY RAY AND DEM: QB Kyle Orton is chucking the rock all over the place and WR by committee is working. WR Brandon Lloyd is showing his talents once again but check back with THE BLUEDUDE in a couple of weeks to see where he is.QB Joe Flacco and the Offense needed to prove themselves at Pittsburgh and did for the most part. Ray Lewis is still ,looking like he is at the U. The broncos need a little luck and timely turnovers from the D to get this one.
WINNER: RAVENS

415PM ET

10. WHO DAT? @ THE DESERT: FIRST THING IS FIRST. CARDS starting a rookie QB vs SAINTS. Look The Cards were done when they let these 3 gentleman get out of town: BOLDIN, ROLLE, and DANSBY PERIOD Head Coach Whisenhunt and front office made a blunder thinking they had a QB in Lienart, and then spending $ on Anderson after qb Warner said enough is enough. The Saints come marching in after betting one gift wrapped last week at home. Now BROWN, UPS, is sendind a gift to the desert. A ROOKIE QB YALL DONE LOST YALL'S MIND IN PHOENIX.
WINNER: WHO DAT? NATION

11. TEN @ JERRY'S BOYS: CJ 28 said earlier in the week that he has something for Dallas. Uh Oh Spaghetti O this might mean trouble for the 'BOYS. HOOKEM' HORNS VY has to play within himself and not get over zealous with his arm and/or feet. Be Patient Dawg. We will see what a Bye Week did for Dallas as this game is going to be tough considering they have had a week off and the OPRYLAND BOYS come off of a devastating loss at home. It will be the WAR OF ATTRITION this week in Dallas. Who wins the turnover battle? Who dominates on both sides of the ball in the trenches? And who will make enough plays during the game and at the end to win? For fantasy players it's fools gold to start Chris Johnson this week The 'BOYS front seven and LB WARE found something in week 3. Now they will find CHRIS trust me.
WINNER: COWBOYS

12. BOLTS @ EAST BAY: TELL ME THIS WHAT MONTH IS IT? OCTOBER which means the CHARGERS are out of September and it is Officially on and popping in DIEGO. Just recently signed Marcus McNeil and the O-Line will be better. Coach Turner and QB Rivers are on the same page and must get the running game going to offset opposing defenses because they have no WR Vincent Jackson. Raiders need to stay the course and play 60 minutes. Then you say what course BLUEDUDE? I don't know but it sounded good though.
WINNER: BOLTS

820PM ET

13. EAGLES @ GOLD RUSH: If Head Coach and HOF LB Mike Singletary ever needed something to go in his favor he needs it this Sunday Night. Hard Luck has followed the 9ers and average play from QB Alex Smith has limited the NINERS to go downfield with guys like CRAB, GINN JR., AND VERNON DAVID THE REAL HERCULES. They need to mix and match those guys with RB Frank GORE to have any success on that side of the ball. Defensively you are always in the game if you have a guy like Mr. PATRICK WILLIS. Kevin Kolb needs to show himself why he is a Starting NFL QB. The Eagles couldn't get anything on offense last week to beat the 'SKINS. The Defense held up pretty good after the initial onslaught by Redskins. This is a tough game to call and if MIKE VICK was playing I would say the Eagles but he is not.
WINNER: GOLD RUSH

OCTOBER 11 2010
830PM ET

14. VIKES @ GOTHAM CITY GREEN: The VIKES come right off a bye week to meet and greet the boys in green from NYC. The addition of Randy Moss should really help open the middle for TE Shiancoe and WR Harvin. The JETS know Randy and CB Revis is stirring up the pot again saying, " After the 1st half, Randy put the brakes on as he usually does". I hope Revis' hamstring is good because that slouch is coming again this time with a world beating RB in ALL DAY Peterson. QB Sanchez looks like he is progressing through the offense. I don't count the game at BILLS last week but he made plays in MIAMI as well. If RB LT Tomlinson continues to play at this level and they get SHON GREEN rolling the Jets will be the team to beat in the AFC. My Favorite SANTONIO HOLMES is back as well and all he does is make plays everywhere on the field. This will be a damn good one and a tough one to call.
WINNER PICK'EM BLUEDUDE'S WINNER: RANDY MOSS TO GET A CHANCE TO PLAY WITH #4
