Randy Moss, from Rand, West Virginia, and attended Belle WV DuPONT High School with childhood friend Jason Williams of now the Orlando Magic by way of Miami Heat and Sacramento Kings.

Randy started his collegiate career at Florida State and after having some personal issues was released from his scholarship and then went to Notre Dame briefly only to get let go there.

He ended up at back in his home state and tearing it up literally with the Marshall Herd and QB Chad Pennington of the Miami Dolphins. He was two-time All-American and 3rd place in the Heisman voting his last year at Marshall.

Randy entered the 1998 NFL Draft and with all of his baggage he knew he would drop a little and without his baggage would have been a surefire top 5 pick in that draft. As he waited and waited 20 teams that day passed on THE SUPERFREAK. It was then Head Coach Dennis Green of the Minnesota Vikings who would take a chance on Randy because they knew they had a guy in place that could mentor him along. The mentor was soon to be HOF Inductee and Current ESPN NFL Analyst #80 Chris "ALL I DO IS CATCH TOUCHDOWNS" Carter. He took Randy under his wing that preseason with workouts down in the Miami area and Chris couldn't believe what he was seeing.

As he watched MOSS in training and saw this cheetah-like athlete with hand-eye coordination, agility, ability to blow by who ever was covering, and Carter was in Aw. Remember #80 has seen almost everything an NFL Wr is to see and is marveled on how MOSS physically is gifted. #80 then reached out to Coach Dennis Green and simply told him this kid is the Real Deal and out of sight.

Before lacing them up for the first game Mr. Moss had this to say, "I am going to make the other 20 teams, including the Cowboys, Pay for not selecting me. I AM GOING TO RIP THE LEAGUE UP". Rumor had it he was so animated about the Cowboys because Jerry Jones and the "BOYS had told Moss Before the Draft time and time again you won't get past us on draft day. They lied and every time he sees that star he goes into a time warp like BUCK ROGERS AND THE 25TH CENTURY.

MOSS played from 1998 -2004 with the VIKES with rookie numbers 16 games 69 catches 1,313 yards 19 yds/catch 82 yds/game 17 for pay dirt. Half of those numbers were on the Cowboys on Thanksgiving Day in 1998 lol. Randy's best season to date and with the Vikes was 2003 in 16 games he had 111 catches 1,632 yards 15 yds/catch 102 yds/game WOW and 17 TDS. You imagine one guy , who by the way is getting every coverage thrown at him averaged over 100 yards per game himself......HIT IT RICK JAMES......SUPERFREAK SUPERFREAK SUPERFREAKIN YOW......EVERYBODY SING....you get the message.

After the 2004 season he went to the SILVER & BLACK for 2 horrible seasons by his measures. The Raiders had something if only they had a QB, a steady offensive system, and good defense, HELL JUST SOME DIRECTION, and Owner Al Davis is living like ITS 1970 NOT 1999 sorry PRINCE. So then came a miracle in Coach Bill Belichek thinking I have all what the RAIDERS don't maybe we can get him in a trade.

The 2007 season rolls around the PATS make the trade for him and teams not in the AFC East start looking at the schedule because the Tom Brady-Randy Moss Circus will on automatic. And automatic it was Moss played in all 16 games and had a career- high 23 TDS and a couple of plays from beating the G-Men in one of the most stunning upsets in recent SUPER BOWL History. Moss again showed when happy and getting the ball thrown to him, by one the best I may add in TOM TERRIFIC, he just is unstoppable.

This Brings me to October 6, 2010 and the Trade from the PATS back home to the Twin Cities. This may look like a stop gap type of situation. But look at the VIKINGS Offensive personnel in QB FAVRE, RB ALL DAY, WR PERCYLAND, TE SHIANCOE, WR B TWICE if he could just be a deep threat once, and putting THE SUPERFREAK with that group doesn't look like oil and H2O does it. Its been proven when #84 is happy and you make him a vital part of the game plan the numbers are astonishing. And playing with the great Brett Favre and All DAY Adrian Peterson should be nothing but sensational.

The VIKES are coming off a bye week and 1-2 and facing the J-E-T-S in Gotham City on Monday Night. Somebody tell Revis Island that the Category 84 is coming to town and the weather man says, "THIS STORM IS NO SLOUCH AND HAS NO BREAKS".

THE BLUEDUDE IS PULLING FOR YOU #84 RIP IT UP AGAIN SO I CAN TELL MY SONS, AS I LOOK AT MY MOSS VIKING MCFARLANE SPORTSPICK , THE REAL RANDY IS STANDING UP.
