You have heard it time and time again in professional sports. Teams that look good on paper or analyst have picked them in high regards still get praised even when losing. Take for instance the Dallas Cowboys and Minnesota Vikings, everyone seems to be waiting for them to win out and be the team that everyone thought they would be. Well as of Week 5 both teams are 1-3 and are a combination of teams beating them and them beating themselves. It's that old adage, "YOU ARE WHAT YOUR RECORD SAYS YOU ARE".

The 'Boys and Vikes aren't the only ones finding themselves. The BOLTS and BENGALS join that club as well.

One, the Chargers play is though if we show up to the stadium and warm-up like beasts we will win the game. I think it is time for Norv Turner to step down and let Defensive Coordinator Ron Rivera get his shot. Rivera, ex-bears LB himself who played with that '85 Bears team, is a cut out of the same mold of Singletary. A no-frills guy who has professionalism and accountability high a top his list. The BOLTS just need someone to tell them to quit reading press clippings and the Internet and go play the game like they know how to play.

Secondly, Oh my beloved BUNGLES. In the last couple of years did QB Carson Palmer start getting tutelage from fellow USC Alum Matt "THE HILLS" Leinart or is he just what he is an average QB. Look, the Chad/T.O. Show is done and I thought it was done before it ever started. Even though T.O. seems to be holding up his end of the bargain where the Hell is OCHOCINCO. I am not saying its all their faults. But when you get on TV with your own reality show as though my team and I won the Lombardi last year you need to produce if anybody on that Bengals Team. Coach Marvin Lewis is in a contract year and defensive Coordinator Mike "ZIM" Zimmer was extended beyond this season in training camp doesn't quite look right. But then if you look who is at the top, Bengals President Mike Brown, that covers all the nonsense. You put him and Raiders Owner Al Davis in the same room you would have about 25-30 years of Football Player Personnel Hell and bad decision after bad decision.

At this point in the season the Bengals should only be struggling on offense and not defense. But I can't tell where the problem is and it starts at the the top right.

On a different note the Ravens , Jets, Bears,Falcons, Buccaneers, and Chiefs are holding it down. And if the Playoffs were to start today Las Vegas and everybody else would be cashing in.

The top 5 teams in football in order as of today October 12, 2010 are as follows:

1. RAVENS: That defense and a big win at Pittsburgh last week vaulted them over the Curtain.

2. STEELERS: Now with BIG BEN back if the offense takes off with that defense the Steelers will be in Big D write it down and take a picture.

3. JETS: The defense still misses Jenks in the middle, but offensively looking rather explosive with LT 2K10.

4. FALCONS: In front of the BEARS because of QB Matt Ryan. Defense playing at a new level as well and they could be the best in the NFC.

5. BEARS: If they can only get Offensive Line play and consistency at QB but don't both of those go hand in hand. BEARS "D" looking like the Old MONSTERS of the MIDWAY.
