The New Orleans Saints will get the Award for "Hire" of the Year and Saints D-Coordinator Rob Ryan has been nothing but Butta on Crawfish Gumbo since hitting the Saints Metairie, LA Practice Facility. With the Offense struggling versus a tough and stout Falcons "D" it was the Saints "D" that rose up to the occasion and give the Saints a 17-13 "W" and a 9-2 Record heading into next week's possible NFC Championship Preview Saints in the 206 vs the "Legion of Boom" and 12's.

Brees missed a few targets which is odd for him and that hit on his shoulder last week vs the Niners I hope isn't effecting his throws. #9 threw for 278 yards on 22/33 and two TDs. The Falcons Front and Secondary arguably played its best game of 2013 vs the Saints. It was Saints TE Jimmy Graham aka Big Red of NOLA that sliced and diced the Falcons "D" as he caught 5 Pigs for 100 yards and one in the Falcons End Zone. Both Saints RBs of Pierre Thomas and Mark Ingram combined for 105 yards on 19 carries and that is more than good enough for that Saints Attack on the ground.

The Falcons played well but just could not convert deep in Saints Territory or near the Red Zone. The Play of the night was the Fumble by WR Darius Johnson in the Red Zone late in the 4th that sealed the Falcons fate. Falcons QB Matty Ice was threw for 292 yards on 30 for 39 bit no TDs or INTs. Falcons RB Steve Jackson had his best game of 2013 with 63 yards rushing on 16 carries and a score. The Falcons just shot themselves in the foot and that has been their story for the entire 2013 season as it has been inability to make plays when needed.

Thew Saints move to 9-2 and have the 10-1 Seahawks next Sunday December 1st in the 206 near the Puget Sound. The Falcons fall to a miserable 2-9 as they wish their season ended tonight.

Note: Falcons TE Tony Gonzalez caught 4 Pigs for 43 yards to keep his NFL Record for consecutive games with a Grab.
