The "Only Game in Town" will be coming to an NBA Arena near you and for those keeping score these Boys are for real out the gate. The Portland Trailblazers get another win on the Road as they handle the struggling Brooklyn Nets as Veteran-Laden as an NBA Team can be 108-98 and they are doing it with all hands on decks and a snippet of off-season moves.

The Blazers survived a forty point outburst in the first frame to settle in and outscore the Nets 77-58 the rest of the way to get a huge "W" and keep the Blazers win streak at seven as they are 4-1 out of the Motel and 5-1 after Home-Cooked Meals. Tonight versus the BK Nets they get 27 points and eight boards from Blazer Mania's only Choo Choo Train..the "L-Train" LaMarcus Aldridge. They also 24 points and six boards from Bloodline Wes Matthews Jr. as he also hit 5 of 8 from the "Land of Plenty". The Blazers are a well-oiled machine and the influx of Mo Williams, Dorrell Wright, and Thomas Robinson has done wonders for them as all they needed after a fast start in the 2012-13 season was a few quality reinforcements.

The Nets fall to 3-7 as they are hopefully for Nets Nation a "Work in Progress" as they get 23 points from PG Shaun Livingston and 16 points and eight boards from the "Big Ticket" Kevin Garnett. Joe Johnson added 13 and the "Truth" Paul Pierce chips in with eleven. The most startling "Stat of the Night" was the BK Nets were 33/35 from the Stripe as the Blazers were just 18/21. That was all for not with the Blazers holding a +15 advantage from the Arc. It's amazing how numbers in an NBA Game equals themselves out over 48 minutes.

Rip City now gets "Fear the Deer" in Milwaukee on November 20 and back home they entertain the Bulls on November 22nd. The Nets will be at Charlotte on November 20th and in the twin Cities on November 22nd.
