Bears @ Rams NFL Week 12 Early Slate 1pm ET...

The Chicago Bears will need to pack their best Defensive Effort in this one as that side of the Pig is semi-banged up in key spots. No Lance Briggs of "Desert Swarm" and no "Peanut of Halas Hall" is a huge blow with Peanut missing his 2nd game of 2013 and most likely done for 2013. Can the Bears "D" slow down Rams Rook WR/PR/KR Tavon Austin as he has woken up just in time to fill up his Rookie Numbers for 2013? Bears QB McCown has played extremely well and can he continue that versus a stout Rams "D" led by Bookends Chris Long and Robert Quinn? Bears WRs Alshon Jeffery and Brandon Marshall vs Cortland Finnegan and Janoris Jenkins is worth the price of admission. Bears RB Matt Forte will be the difference-maker in this one.

The Rams need Rook RB Zac Stacy to be on his game as the Bears are going to give Rams QB Kellen Clemens all kinds of different looks. Austin along with WRs Chris Givens and Austin Pettis with Monster TE Jared Cook have to be able to make plays for the Rams in the Vertical Passing Game. The Rams can move the Pig vs that Bears "D" bit can they get 7's in the Red Zone? That Rams "D" will be super tough and the Bears need to stay on pace to win the NFC North.

Winner: BEARS 17-13...the Defenses rise up in this one as it comes down to McCown vs Clemens

Note: HOF Raiders DT Howie Long gets to watch Sons Rams DE Chris Long and Bears OG Kyle Long square off against each other
