The Bears had it down to Seahawks Offensive Coordinator Darrell Bevell and Seahawks Defensive Coordinator Gus Bradle, and Montreal Alouettes Head Coach Marc Trestman and ESPN.com Chicago is reporting the Bears hire Trestman to become the Bears New Lead Man.

Trestman has spent plenty of Time in the NFL just not as a Head Coach. Trestman has mainly been and Offensive Coordinator/QBs Coach with his last few Stops being in the NFL at Arizona Cardinals (1998-2000), Oakland Raiders (2001-2002), and the Miami Dolphins (2003). In Miami he was Offensive Coordinator and Assistant Head Coach.

Trestman comes to the Bears having won Two Grey Cups (Canadian Football League Super Bowl) in 2009 and 2010. He will be largely responsible for trying to fix the Bears Offense behind QB Jay Cutler. The Bears under Lovie Smith had glaring Weaknesses on Offense and Trestman has some weapons to work with. His Choice of Staff surrounding him will be Paramount in the success he will have in Chicago as the Bears D is getting up there in Age as well.
