They sign STAT, Amare Stoudamire, and miss out on KING JAMES and JOE JOHNSON. NEW YORK KNICKS Fans were like man this is GOTHAM CITY and all we get is STAT and we strike out on KING JAMES and JJ........ C'MON SON.

Now 22 games in this young NBA SEASON the KNICKERBOCKERS look like WORLD BEATERS on the ROAD as they have won 5 in a row and won their last 7 games on the road. And doing this with GALLINERI, Wilson Chandler, Ray Felton, and a heavy dose of STAT........WOW.......Imagine that.......a team with a low post presence.........are getting others involved.....isn't always suppose to work like that. KNICKS stand in 2nd place at 13-9 behind the GREEN TEAM who are 16-4.

The LAKERS haven't been able t put too much together in this early season and it's a case of WORLD CHAMPS Hangover and the absence of one Center ANDREW BYNUM. The LAKESHOW, now 15-6, went through a tough 4 game skid where last year they were hammering all these teams.

And in the association when teams struggle on the road that shows a lack of concentration and an inability to take care of BIZ on the road. The LAKERS have a point differential of over 8 points a game but it's not being able to put away teams away from STAPLES that's killing them. With one of the deepest benches in the LEAGUE its the law of averages says the LAKESHOW will still win about 56-58 games.

The CELTICS are just doing what they do......WIN.....and play DEFENSE.....DOC has his boys in mid-season form and the SKY is the LIMIT as they are the clear favorites to come out of the EAST. THE BIG TICKET, Kevin Garnett, looks rejuvenated and the Knee looks good which simply spells doom for opponents. KG anchors the GREEN TEAM ON D and they do know how to close games in every way possible........BIG UPS.....to DOUBLE R......RAJON RONDO

The Battle for the LONE STAR STATE will be heavily watched by NBA FANS and the LA LAKERS as the only 2 threats for the LAKESHOW not coming out the WEST is the SPURS and MAVERICKS. As we speak the SPURS are 17-3 and the MAVS are 17-4 both are 8-1 on the road and both teams have deep and experienced rosters.

Could this be the year of the LONE STAR STATE representing the WESTERN CONFERENCE in the NBA FINALS?....We will wait and see....I know this..........KOBE and the SHOW will not go quietly if they go at all.

I know all my NBA HEADS are wondering man BLUEDUDE why don't you cover the other NBA Teams....I have a simple criteria.......The race to the LARRY O'BRIEN TROPHY is a 5-6 Team race, and that's being nice, so if your team is not one of the 6 you will miss out, but i will try to cover all players who do work in the Association........so I am not completely ignoring you......right.......I LOVE THIS GAME

This is all about the maturation of Ray (I'll have to get him a nickname later) Felton. Beginning of the season, he was clueless about running an effective pick and roll. This cat used to drive off of Amare's pick, get midway to the hole and jump stop into a cross court pass to the opposite side, lmao??? TURNOVER city, son!! He and STAT were filling it up with the turnovers and I blame Felton for that. But now, the kid is much better. I don't know if he looked at some Steve Nash/Amare footage or what but he is getting his $. Its crazy because Larry Brown is the proclaimed pg guru however Felton has developed more this year than he did in all of his years with Charlotte?!! STAT has put a lil FIYAHHHHHH(respect to M.O.P.)in Feltons chest!! I've never seen him swell up and puff like he did last night!! Hate to say it, but if he keeps ballin like NYC's lost son, CP3 can go holla at Orlando! With all that being said, if Melo comes home its ON!!
