The Rangers were licking their chops as Rays LHP and Ace David Price hasn't fared too well vs the Rangers but all that changed Monday Night at the Ballpark in Arlington.

Behind early run support Price handled his business and took the Rangers right out of Post Season with a 5-2 Rays "W". The Vanderbilt Commodore Alum went "Complete" Job like only the Big Money Pitchers on the Bump do and allowed two runs on seven hits as handed out one free pass and struck out four Rangers. His counterpart for Texas Martin Perez (who has bright future in Red, White, and Blue of Ranger Lore) wasn't as fortunate as he went 5 1/3 innings giving up three runs on four hits. Perez was hurt in the 3rd inning by Rays Hot Corner Evan Longoria's Two-Run Blast but we will get to Mr. Longoria's Monday Doings shortly. The Ranger Pen also allowed two runs and an insurance run in the top half of the 9th.

Back to Evan Longoria's Night as he was a one-man wrecking crew going 3 for 4 with two RBI and two Runs scores including that crucial two-run Bomb off Perez. He carried the Rays Offense out of the five hole and he is a Hot/Cold Players and the Tribe need to be careful with Longoria's Lumber as he might try to play "One Man and a Truck" and move the Rays right through the Junior Circuit "Fight for October".

Now the Rays will face the Tribe Wednesday Night October 2 at the Jake at 8pm ET. For the Rangers and Rangers Nation that is a tough Rawlings Hardball to swallow as you play 162 and it comes down to Game 163 and nine innings.

Rays Nation...#OneMoreGame you say that about twelve times and the Rays do it...Parade Route...just thinking into November...and I know!
