In a surprise too many the Carolina Panthers many thought would be the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of 2013 as the Bucs Ship at Raymond James is leaking and sinking and the Ghost of the Old Sombrero is back. Meanwhile the Panthers are 3-3 in the NFC South and that is good for 2nd place and ahead of the Atlanta Falcons and the 0-6 Bucs. Now we get a Thursday Night Tilt with NFC South Implications ass well as a good look at Team Schiano and if your a true NFL Head you know why his regime if getting a failing grade. Panthers Lead Man Rivera, a defensive-mind, has that "D" where it should have been a year or so ago but it's never too late.

October 24, 2013 NFL Week 8 Thursday Night Football

#QueenCityNC PANTHERS vs #ItsABucsLife and the BUCCANEERS

The Carolina Panthers could make a real statement Tonight in Tampa on a short week as they are gaining some traction in the NFC South. QB Cam Newton is better than he has ever been well at least since that "Splash and Dash" Rookie Season. Panthers RB DeAngelo Williams has been solid and many though the WR Corps of the Panthers with just Steve Smith would spell gloom and duo. Well enter Brandon LaFell and 2013 Free Agent Pick Up Teddy Ginn Jr. as they have stepped up and played Limo Driver and Caddy for Mr. Smith. Can that Bucs Defense stop the Panthers Attack that has been balanced as Cam (who hasn't been using his legs as much) can still go get eluding Red Jersey Collectors and getting in space? Revis Island vs Steve "When I see you on the Street..I am going to bust you right in the Chops" Smith is must-see T.V..

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers found the source of the Problem as they released QB Josh Freeman. They still have not put one in the right column the win column. Freeman wasn't the answer as Lead Man Schiano might need to look in the mirror and access his Coaching Style among other things. Some Coaches can leave Major Division 1 Football and get acclimated to the Sunday Game but most cannot. Remember there is no Scholarship between the lines on Sunday and it's putting food on the table and that is an entirely different mindset you must take as a coach. Can that Bucs Offense with no "Muscle Hamster" in Bucs RB Doug Martin do anything against an improved front seven of the Panthers led by Backers Luke Kuechly (pictured above right) and Thomas Davis along with Rook DT Star Lotulelei. Panthers are giving up under 85 on the ground and under 220 in the air. Where in Vertical Passing Game is Bucs WRs Vincent Jackson and Mike Williams?

Winner: PANTHERS 30-13 too much CAM and that New Panthers "D"
