BULLS and ROSE atop APRIL NBA Power Rankings.....the NUGGETS are starting to make noise out WEST.....and DOUG and the 6ERS

It's about a week to NBA PLAYOFF Time and the Cream has risen to the TOP.....at least if you ask a few teams. The BULLS keep their Focus on the #1 seed in the East and a possible #1 Overall Seed in the whole PLAYOFFS.

The LAKERS move within striking distance of the FALLING SPURS only to Lose at home to THOSE NUGGETS and the JAZZ and Gordon HAYWARD.....yeah DUDE from last year's BUTLER BULLDOGS. The LAKESHOW has cooled off a little and that is not a good sign going into the PLAYOFFS........u need MOMENTUM.

The SPURS bounced back thanks to a FAVORABLE Schedule and the play of one Tony PARKER and Manu GINOBLI. They were endanger of losing the #1 Seed in the WEST and the #1 Overall Seed in the PLAYOFFS within the last month or so. But with the LAKESHOW cooling off and no one else in the WEST within striking distance.....it is safe to say the SPURS will be #1 OVERALL.

The 2 teams that have been getting it done are those New NUGGETS and Doug COLLINS' SEVENTY-SIXERS who started out 3-13 and have been a ROBUST 37- 25 since thanks to inspired play by 2nd year COMBO G JRUE HOLIDAY and the Leadership of DRE' IGUODALA aka IGGY and Elton BRAND.

The NUGGETS just have been the right mix with COACH George KARL leading the CHARGE and interchangeable parts......KARL loved those parts back in the Great Northwest with the GLOVE and REIGN MAN. The NUGGETS have been playing better DEFENSE since the trade of 'MELO and they have better flow OFFENSIVELY....IMAGINE THAT.....BETTER FLOW....and NO A.I. nor 'MELO...HMMMMM and 'MELO'S New Team the KNICKS are an ARENA Move from playing in the RUCKER TOURNEY this summer.....as the KNICKS play NO D.....but there is a D in Mike D'ANTONI.

On with the POWER RANKINGS:

1. BULLS 57-20 A combo of DERRICK ROSE and Excellent rebounding and team defense....a full year and a half ahead of schedule

2. HEAT 54-23 aka The CREAM TEAM ok RICK ROSS aka Ricky ROSE' and don't forget to change your name in 2013....the Real Rick Ross is getting out of the FED JOINT Fool......Starting to put things together...but can they beat the CELTICS?....or the BULLS?...with just 3 guys

3. LAKERS 55-21 Holding on now for dear life after closing within a game and a half of the SPURS....now they need to get back to LAKER BASKETBALL.......KOBE quit looking at your hands when you drop that ball you want #2 Seed

4. SPURS 59-19 Ok the LAKER SURGE STOPPED...now they need to get back to playing that SPURS Basketball from earlier this season.....SPURS need Tony PARKER to stir it up one more time with a teammate for the PLAYOFFS

5. CELTICS 54-23 Injuries are taking its toll on the VETERANS...although not key Veterans.....CELTICS still loom large in PLAYOFFS......No PERK will be the FINAL BLOW u just wait

6. MAVS 53-24 They have DIRK and KIDD.....and a lot HELP inside....CHANDLER and HAYWOOD....MAYBE MAVS last gasp for AIR....Will play the LAKERS in 2nd Round...can you say UPSET.......and the COWBOYS will win the big one this season...H*** NO

7. NUGGETS 47-29 knocked off the LAKESHOW at STAPLES Sunday.....they look the PART and PLAYING the PART right now...the WEST Surprise in the PLAYOFFS...DANGEROUS......There has been VINTAGE K-MART sightings in the PAINT

8. O MAGIC 49-29 A disappointing Year and they must think they have a switch to go to playoff MODE.....only SUPERMAN has a SWITCH......the rest of the have the BIG MOUSE for FAM......Imagine a team with J-RICH and GIL 0....I would love to hear some of those conversations....you think thy are about HOOPS........and I saw the BOOGIE MAN LAST NIGHT

9. OKC THUNDER 50-26 A terrible loss to the CLIPS last weekend.......not playing well going down the stretch....they look uninterested at times.......Is SCOTTY BROOKS losing his team

10. TRAILBLAZERS 45-32 A deep team with a lot of good pieces and they will have a 80% healthy Brandon Roy for the PLAYOFFS......and RUDY FERNANDEZ has been BALLING out of his mind...now u see why the BLAZERS didn't move him

11. HAWKS 44-34 Still the same S*** in ATL....everyone coming to see the other team play.....and JO JO disappearing at times....MAN 1st the Dirty Birds......now this S***........If it wasn't for all those CLUBS!!!!!!!!!what would ATL have....GUCCI MAN and T.I.....they can't stay out of the COUNTY.

12. 76ERS 40-38 I know they are only 2 games over .500 but have you seen them lately.....they just missing the SPECTRUM NOW.......And DOC.......MO......CHOCOLATE THUNDER......DREW.......BOBBY and MOSES

13. HORNETS 44-33 They will miss D WEST in the PLAYOFFS and CP3 you have to wonder....is this the last of him in the BIG EASY.....I know this.......his JORDANS don't sell worth a HILL OF BEANS

14. GRIZZLIES 44-34 The ONLY reason they are ahead of the KNICKS.......they play DEFENSE....and they have balance......and they have the GREAT TONY ALLEN........yeah I said It...he has a RING

15. KINCKS 39-38 Its Ironic that the KNICKS played No D with STAT.....they add 'MELO.......and they get worse...or is it D "ANTONI or a Mix of both system and player ....face HEAT 1st ROUND...SPIKE will be going to just GAME 3 only no need to see GAME 4

16. ROCKETS 41-37 They are moving in the right direction Post-YAO...that's a good sign....but just think where they would be with a HEALTHY T-MAC and YAO with all those young GUYS
