NFL.com is breaking News that Big Ben Shoulder is the least of His Worries and Big Ben has a rare Rib Injury that could apparently puncture a Lung and is near his Aorta. Now we know Big Ben is probably in Jeopardy for not Returning until maybe at the earliest Winning Time in January if that. The Bluedude didn't graduate from John Hopkins and I don't work there or the Mayo Clinic.  I just though I would put my Trapper John M.D. Hat on for Steelers Nation and we move on quickly.

Next Man Up applies but in the QB Position with a Franchise Elite QB the Next Man Up is replacing is Super Tough. The One Positive is Steelers 2nd String QB Byron Leftwich has had Big Success in this League no matter how the Pundits look at it. I feel more comfortable with him than any other 31 Back Up QBs on Sunday. Leftwich last stared a Game in 2009 and last won a Game in 2006.

O-Coordinator Haley still will go down the Field with B-Left and he will also use more of the Short Routes in which the Steelers have been using All Season anyway. The Run is always the 1st Plan and the Ravens Run D will be amped up thinking we don't have to worry about Big Ben so let's get after B-Left and be careful RAT BIRDS your D isn't near what it use to be.

Taking a look at B-Left's Career Numbers in J'Ville:

JAGS QB Starter  W-L 24-20...58% Comp...51 TDs 36 INTs... 80.5 AB Rating 9,042 Yards
#7 Pick 2003 NFL Draft

B-Left has Weapons and the Ravens will be looking for WR Screens and Slants so they will be jumping Routes. Haley has to go Intermediate Routes more but with B-Left with limited Mobility Haley will try to get it out of his Hands quickly in Screens and throws into the Flat and all that accompanied with 3-Step Drops.

The Positive coming out of this is B-Left played vs the Chiefs so that Game Speed was Important moving Forward. Look Steelers Nation B-Left doesn't play D so the D will have to play and they will regardless of whose QB. The O just has to make Plays when they present themselves and it's a Sunday Night Game.

Preparation will be everything and expect B-Left and the Backs and WRs for the Steelers doing some Late Evening Work to get it Right as B-Left looks like he might be the Man through Week 17. As for that Long Wind Up B-Left draw one in the Grass to Da Kid for 6 right off the Top and they will shut up.
