Under very Adverse Circumstances the Brooklyn Nets and the Barclays Center finally get their Home Opener and the Last Team in the Logo to do so.

The Brooklyn Burrough still with many Issues will play host to their 1st Professional Home Game since Dodgers Owner Branch Rickey and the Brooklyn Dodgers close down beloved Ebbet's Field and moved to still the Dodgers Current Home...Chavez Ravine...Dodgers Stadium. Now Brooklynites    have something to be proud about an the Whole World to see as their Nets will take the Court under their Lead Man and the Coach they call "the General"...Avery Johnson.

the Dinosaur Boyz...RAPTORS vs the BROOKLYN NETS of the Brooklyn Burrough

The Game will feature a Raptors Team that is no Pushover no longer with an abundance of Talent all over the Roster and somewhat Young Talent. They get 2K12 FA PG Kyle Lowry from the Rockets. They also get an Offer Sheet in for Former Knicks SF "the Killing Fields" Landry Fields. Jose Calderon is still a solid PG and the Nucleus of Him, SG and the Product of a New 4 year $42 Million Deal in 2G DeMar DeRozan, PF Andrea Bargnani , PF Ed Davis, and PF/C Amir Johnson. Then add all that to 2012 Draft Picks Terrence Ross (UW Seattle) and Quincy Acy (Baylor) along with Russian Big Jonas Valanciunas...these are not your Roll Over and Play Park District Ball Dinosaur Boyz. GM Bryan Colangelo has done a fabulous Job and creating somewhat of a Nucleus to go along with Rising Young Talent and spent Free Agent Money well.

The Brooklyn Nets had a Whirlwind Summer culminated by a Phone Call to from current Brooklyn GM Billy King to fellow Duke Alum Danny Ferry on his New gig in Atlanta. At the End of that Conversation Hawks Joe Johnson names pops up and there you have it. Johnson helps the Nets secure Point God and Face of the Brooklyn Nets Deron Williams and from then on the Nets Barclays Roster starting to take Shape.

They Added SF Gerald Wallace before the signing of Both JJ and D-Will to show Deron that we will put Quality Pieces around you. They added talented Rookie PG and Jersey Native by way of Rock Chalk Fame Tyshawn Taylor. A Bosnian Scorer in Mirza Teletovic who played in Professionally in Spain a Few Seasons. Holdovers like Brooks Lopez, K-Humps, and "I am a Marshon" Brooks.

The Nets knew they just couldn't rely on D-Will, JJ, and G-Wallace to carry all the Load and Pressure so they went on and got some Patchwork in these Players and all Vets of the Logo:

SG Jerry Stackhouse (Franklin Street NC)
SF Josh Childress (the Farm)
PF Reggie Evans (Iowa City, IA)
PG CJ Watson (Rocky Top)
PF/C Andray Blatche (South Kent Prep)
SG Keith Bogans (#WeRUK)

These are not Patchworks Players but for the Roster thy fill in nicely and all will be Key Contributors to Nets 2012-13 Season. Billy King and the General also surround themselves with Great People as to get to the Top that is a Key and Essential Ingredient. Coach Johnson's Coaching Staff consists of:

Mario Elie (Native New Yorker and played HS Ball with HOF Chris Mullin and a Clutch City Back 2 Back Champion Rockets)
Popeye Jones (Murray State Racer Great and a part of A.J. Staff in Dallas)
Doug Overton (All-Time Great at LaSalle U in Philly)
P.J. Carleisimo (known for his Resurrection of Seton Hall Pirates Late 80s and a Head Coach in the Logo under a Few Stops)

The Journey starts now for the Brooklyn Nets and the 82-Game Trek is a Marathon not a Sprint the Bluedude has them penciled in anywhere from 2-7 as the Nets, Celtics, Knicks, Pacers, Sixers, and See Red....the Bulls are all almost the Same Guy.

Congrats Brooklyn, the Brooklyn Nets, and the NBA Family...Mission Accomplished...and "Brooklyn has a Home Team"
