The Vikings had an excellent Day One 2013 NFL Draft potentially getting three starters in Floyd, Rhodes, and Patterson. Lead Man Frazier has done one helluva job leading the Vikes but unfortunately his fate start with the #1 position on Sunday the QB. Christian Ponder has to make noticeable strides in 2013 as the Vikings Fate isn't solely on him but he can't be a game manager.

The Vikes have the game's premier Running Back in Adrian Peterson and there is nothing he can't do although I would like to see him get some long hand-offs via the short pass. Greg Jennings comes over to the Vikes as they are waiting for him to quit taking shots at former Packers Teammate and QB Aaron Rodgers and join the Vikes Huddle. Opposite of him is Jerome Simpson but watch for 2013 1st rounder Cordarrelle Patterson who was a monster in the SEC after the catch. Tight End Kyle Rudolph is becoming a household name and continues to be Ponder's Safety Blanket. The O-Line is led by 2012 1st Rounder Left Tackle Matt Kalil with RT Phil "Big" Loadholt the other bookend. The Vikings have to move the Wilson Pigskin by Air more as Ground will be covered by everyone but the Five-O.

The Defense will be much-improved with DT Kevin Williams and DE Jared Allen back into the fold. 2013 1st rounder Shariff Floyd will get his shot as he fell to the 23rd pick and that is 22 teams that must pay. ILB Erin Henderson has been making waves in camp and is ready to join Pro-Bowl Backer Chad Greenway in the A-Gap and sideline to sideline. The Corners must step up in Chris Cook and Josh Robinson as they have 2013 1st rounder Xavier Rhodes from FSU waiting in the wings and he is dynamite. SS Harrison Smith had a very good rookie season and he is a keeper and he hits.

Offensively you what's coming as they will load the box up for Ponder and force him to beat Teams rather than AP #28. He has Jennings and Rook "YAC" Monster Cordarrelle Patterson so get the Pigskin into their hands and let them do the rest of the work.

Defensively Allen can still get after the QB but it will be on that D-Line as them Backers led by Greenway are special if Henderson plays up to his current Training Camp Status. Those Corners will be tested and Rook Stud Xavier Rhodes might get into that Nickel Package as he is that good. Smith the Strong Safety is a heat-seeking missile and very physical at the point of attack.
