Tigers RHP Max Scherzer has had a banner year and there are two things more Items to add to his "Bucket List" for 2K13 as he is going to be a 20-game winner, started in the 2K13 Mid-Summers Classic, and the Tigers are going to make the AL Playoffs. One Item left is 2K13 Fall Classic Champs and the other is the 2K13 AL Cy Young Award. Now to make it interesting whose chasing Scherzer or will get some Votes for their consolation prize?

The 2013 AL Cy Young Race in Order...and it's a "Mad MAX of Comerica" World

1. Max Scherzer #Tigers (19-1) 2.73 ERA 196 SO 42 BB Opp Avg .190

He has been dominant as the Rabngers Yu Darvish is the only other AL Starter where hitters are hitting under the "Mendoza Line" which is under the .200 Mark. With Teammate Justin Verlander having a below average year at best Scherzer has carried that Tigers Staff as he is 18 games over and the Tigers are 24 games over .500 as we go to press.

2. Yu Darvish #Rangers (12-5) 2.68 ERA 225 SO 58 BB Opp Avg .191

Darvish hasn't been in a decision in quite sometime but his "Stuff has Stuff" hence a major league-leading 225 Strike Outs. He is right on Mad Max's Tail with Opponents hitting just .191 against him and he is a Monster on the Bump. What makes him tough he throws five pitches at anytime in the count with all that movement. The Rangers will be a problem with Darvish, Holland, Garza, and the youngster Perez in the "Fight for October" on the Junior Circuit.

3. Bartolo Colon #SwinginAs (14-5) 2.97 ERA 83 SO 25 BB Opp Avg .268

Colon has carried the A's Staff as he hasn't been mowing them down like years past but an excellent ground ball pitcher. He also has been a product when he goes to the Hill the A's Run Support his highest and that's all a Pitcher ask for and that is easier said than done.

4. Matt Moore #Rays (14-3) 3.41 ERA 115 SO 56 BB Opp Avg .212

Moore has been shut down as he is on the 15-Day DL but should be bak here soon. Moore has been pivotal in the rays Run to get back in the Hunt in the AL East when reigning 2012 AL Cy Young Winner David Price was out some 8 weeks. Moore has opponents hitting only .212 against him in 2013.

5. Felix Hernandez #Ms (12-7) 2.63 ERA 192 SO 39 BB Opp Avg .237

Kid Felix has been a victim of poor run support as he has been the same Kid mowing them down, eating innings like PAC-man, and was worth every penny of that ginormous contract he received Spring 2013. His partner in crime from Japan Iwakuma has been really good as well. If the M's can get that youth movement going they have the Arms to get it done.
