D-BACKS travel to the Banks of the OHIO River for a Three-Piece with the RED LEGS...NL Wild Card and NL Central Implications are on the line...A CUP of JOE in the SHOW REPORT "Head 2 Head 2 D-BACKS have 2 Make a Move"

The Arizona Diamondbacks know it's now or never as the teams in front of them in the "Fight for October" on the Senior Circuit are in the NL Central. Both the Redbirds and Red Legs are the NL Wild Card Leaders as the D-Backs are chasing the Wild Card and not the NL West as the Dodgers have almost put a lock on it.

The Red Legs in turn are not interested in the Wild Card as they are more interested in the NL Central Title and going in head first instead of backing in. The Red Legs trail the NL Central leading Buccos by just 2 1/2 and the Redbirds by 1 1/2. The head to head match ups is where you make up ground and the D-Backs need to get all three of these if the can.

The D-Backs will throw Ace Patrick Corbin in game 1 and after that they will face Leake and Latos and that is called having your work cut out. The Red Legs have the advantage on the Bump at least on paper in this series.
