The Pittsburgh Steelers 1st Wave of Secondary people need to step it up and for Steeler Nation it was Pre Season Game 1 but Cruuuuuuuuuz to the House on Nickel Corner Gay with Clark and Polamalu reading the back if his jersey wasn't a pretty sight. We know that 3-4 Zone Blitz Scheme is predicated on the Pass Rush and the Hurries on the QB. Can the Steelers Secondary rise up with a new piece at Weak side Corner and young talented Secondary Help waiting in the wings if someone goes down?

The Steelers Rookie Shamarko Thomas has been playing in Camp all four positions as in SS. FS, CB, Nickel CB and played well. 2013 Pick Terry Hawthorne of Illinois is listed as 4th at LCB in that group as he has some work to do.

Polamalu and Clark are keys as is Ike Taylor. Allen played well in Spot Start Duty especially in that Sunday Night Game in B-More where the Steelers beat the Ravens.

Victorian has shown flashes and Brown is getting Starting Reps as Allen is out and Brown is the Leader on Special Teams from the Secondary Position.
