The Chicago Sky are preparing themselves for the long-haul as they went down in Staples to the Sparks on Tuesday 80-76 but bounced back on Thursday in the 206. The Sky also was without Star Rookie Elena Delle Donne as she has a foot injury.

Behind a big performance from Forward Swin Cash (18 points) and 16 points apiece from Sylvia Fowles and Epiphany Prince the Sky create the Perfect "STORM" and beat the Storm 79-66. The Sky trailed most of the night in 2nd and 3rd gear and then in the 4th frame played some Winning-Time Like basketball.

Trailing 60-57 after three frames the Sky went on a 32-8 run to roll the credits on the Storm behind hot shooting from Prince and Cash and Fowles (who also had 10 boards) controlled the paint.  Tanisha Wright led the Storm with 20 points and Skakinna Strickland added 16 points.

The Sky now leads the eats by 2 1/2 games over the 2nd place and defending WNBA Champion Atlanta Dream. Next up the Sun of Connecticut on Sunday night for Sky Nation.
