The Texas Rangers are a 1/2 game up on the Swingin' Athletics in the AL West and they had their work cutout for them on paper Saturday facing M's Ace "Kid Felix" Hernandez....I said on paper now!

The Rangers chase Kid Felix in the after five innings as Felix had that number all over his line for the night as the Rangers win 15-3. The Rangers put five runs in five innings on five hits as Felix walked five and finally a different number as he struck out four. The Rangers then eat the M's Pen up in the Eight putting up that crooked number 8 as  little league game broke out at the Ballpark in Arlington.

Rangers Starting Pitcher Martin Perez handles his night pretty well going seven allowing three runs on eight hits. Perez also struck out five an gave up a Solo Shot to M's Hot Corner Kevin Seager. The Rangers are getting maybe a 4th arm in that rotation ready for winning time and Perez might be that man as RHP Matt Harrison is lost for 2013.

Everyone in that Rangers Line Up did damage as they pounded out some 15 runs on 14 hits and fourteen ribbies as they get thirteen extra AB's on the night. Beltre, Rios, Kinsler, Profar, and Murphy all go multi-hit for Texas.  The Rangers stay ahead of the A's and the M's are in Mariner Pride Mode and Job Security for 2014.
