The L.A. Dodgers went into their series with the Fightin' Fish of 305 thinking we are going to blow the doors off this joint and do what they do down here...leave early and head to the beach. Well the Marlins had other ideas as the Fish take it right to the Dodgers with their Ace on the mound.
Behind the Fightin' Fish #1 Pitcher in 2013 after trading Ricky Nolasco to of all teams the Dodgers Jose Fernandez was dealing. Fernandez went six allowing two runs on four hits while walking three and striking out eight "Boys in Blue". The Marlins went onto win 6-2 as Dodgers and Korean Import Hyun-Jin Ryu went 7 1/3 innings and the Marlins get three runs on six hits while walking two and striking out five. The Dodgers simply had their problems in the Pen and if there is a Dodger Shortcoming it's in that Middle Relief to Captain Save-A-Game in Kenley Jansen.
The Fish get one RBI from one through six in that line up including Stars RF Giancarlo Stanton's Solo Job. Dodger Hot Corner Juan Uribe continued his hot streak going 3 for 4 with an RBI and a run scored. Dodgers till hold onto their NL West lead as the D-Backs lose to the Red Legs.
