The Tampa Bays Rays trail the Boston Red Sox in the AL East by 2.5 games and they have been stuck on that number going on a solid two weeks. The Athletics blew the doors off of Comerica Park and the Rangers in turn were blowing the doors off the M's in Safeco. Both the Rays and Athletics are good enough to win their respective divisions and who in Louisville Slugger wants to play in that One-Game playoff after playing 162...no one!

TB TBD vs OAK Griffin (11-5)
The Athletics will get a standing ovation as they hit the field tonight the problem will be the dud opposing them warming up in the visitors bullpen...LHP David Price. A's RHP Jarrod Parker has been solid and this should be a good opener. Cobb hits the mound in game two versus Gray and TBD for the Rays vs A.J. Griffin for the A's. The series will be played with a heightened October-Like feel.
