Japanese Import RHP Masahiro Tanaka was all of that on "Hump Day" as he goes seven strong to finish a Pinstripes Three-Piece Sweep. Tanaka allows a run on three hits walking no one and striking out nine. The M's having all sorts of issues as with the Winter Meetings pick up of Free Agent DH Nelson Cruz this is not what the M's ordered!

The Bombers beat the M's on "Get Away Day" via the Long Ball as Mark Teixeira hot a solo shot in the 2nd for a 1-0 Yanks lead. The M's tied the game in the 3rd on a Dustin Ackley two-bagger scoring Brad Miller.

Then in the 4th Garrett Jones took M's starter Taijuan Walker for a two-run blast making it 3-1 as Tanaka cruises with two frames from the Yanks Pen as Yanks Captain Save-A-Game Andrew Miller picks up his 17th save of 2015.

New York moves to 29-25 as they lead the AL East by the narrowest of margins. The M's fall to 24-29 and that is nine games back of the AL west leading 'Stros Show believe it or not!
