The Baltimore Orioles avoiding at all costs a four-game sweep had their work cut out for them from the 1st pitch. The O's were facing young 'Stros Star Dallas Keuchel and his sparkling 7-1 W-L and 1.76 ERA. After the smoke cleared the O's didn't beat Keuchel but more importantly they did get the hard earned "W" 3-2 striking late in the 8th!

Chris Davis singles scoring Manny Machado in the top half of the 1st and you would have thought the O's would hammer Keuchel after that. Hank Conger takes O's starter Wei-Yen Chen deep in the 3rd for a solo blast tying the game at 1-1. The 'Stros would then get another run in the 4th off Chen via Sac-Fly from Luis Valbuena making it 2-1 'Stros.

In the 6th it was O's Steve Pearce with an RBI single off Keuchel scoring Adam Bombs" Jones tying the game at 2-2. That score would go into the 8th with both starters work done as Adam Bomb" Jones goes "Bombs Away" taking 'Stros Show Reliever Chad Qualls deep for a solo blast and a game-winner.

Keuchel's Tab was six hits and two runs in six frames striking out seven. Chen equally as good goes six plus allowing five hits and two runs as he struck out nine. O's Captain Save-A-Game Zach Britton would notch his 14th save with Darren O'Day (2-0) getting the "W"!

O's move to 24-29 right in the middle of that AL east race. The 'Stros Show falls to
34-21 still leading the AL west and if your looking for these boys to have a June Swoon...look again!
