A game where there was hardly any mistakes and it came down to an odd man rush here and a puck put on net there. The Tampa Bay Lightning continues their dominance of coming out of the motel and hitting the winner's circle as they beat the Hawks 3-2 at the Madhouse in dramatic fashion.
The game-winner was a Cedric Paquette goal off a beautiful pass from Defenseman Victor Hedman as the Bolts shock the Indian Head 3-2. The real thunder came from midway through the 3rd as the Hawks score on a Brandon Saad goal early in the 3rd only for that lead to last a whole 13 seconds.
Ondrej Palat gets a rebound chance as Corey Crawford could not find the puck and tied the game up at 2-2. That score took the air out of the Hawks as the Lightning just looked faster tonight and fresher for some odd reason.
"Craw-Dad" stopped 29 of 32 SOG but goal #2 is one he wish he could have back. Ben Bishop held his own stopping 36 of 38 SOG as Tampa out hit the Hawks 46-27. Chicago was 1 for 2 on the power play as it came down to making plays and Bolts Defenseman Victor Hedman has been the "Truth" through three games as we get game #4 on "Hump Day" June 10 at 8pm ET at the Madhouse.
