Just what the MLB Doctors ordered for the Boston Red Sox as Clay Buchholz was dominant versus the AL Central leading Minnesota Twins. The Carmines get a 7th inning RBI Single from Rusney Castillo scoring Xander Bogaerts as that was the only run in the game.
Back to Clay as he throws a three-hitter through eight frames walking two ad striking out eight. Buchholz moves to 3-6 as he has struggled like the 2K15 Carmines have also struggled in many facets of the game this season.
Twinkies starter Mike Pelfrey was on his game as well allowing just that run on six hits through seven as he walked two and struck out one. The only Twins to get a hit on Buchholz was Joe Mauer, Torii Hunter, and Eddie Rosario.
The Carmines move to 23-29 and playing in the AL East that is 5th place but just four games back of the East leading Yankees. The Twinkies are tied with the Kansas City Royals falling to 30-20...
