That first goal of the night from a Patrick Sharp empty netter powered by "Shaqtin a Fool" on Ice as Bolts net minder Ben Bishop collided with Bolts Defenseman Viktor Hedman some 30 feet away from the blue-paint.
That set the tempo for a Hawks Team that had fresh Legs and fresh Dawgs (feet) as the Bolts looked like the team playing at home with too many distractions off the ice. The Bolts did not come to play and that is how it happens when your in the Finals and not coming out of the motel!
With the score 1-0 Hawks it was Valtteri Fippula scoring on a nifty pass from Jason Garrison that one Duncan Keith just missed tying the game at 1-1. Then it was a few more solid opportunities for Tampa as they had a Power Play right after that goal but could not capitalize.
Then in the 3rd that Hawks 3rd and 4th line was dominant all night long as Kris Versteeg raced in put one on net and Antoine Vermette hustling behind the play gets a tip-in for the game-winner. There was nothing the Bolts could do as the Stars were not shining but someone had to and the Hawks Supporting Actors grab the Oscar's tonight in Game 5!
"Craw-Dad" stooped 31 of 32 SOG while Ben Bishop halted 27-29 SOG...
Now we get Game 5 at the Madhouse with Plywood on all the buildings (lol) as its the Hawks trying to get another Cup their 3rd since 2010 on Monday June 15 at 8pm ET...
