It was the Rubber Game between the NL West Rival L.A. Dodgers and the new San Diego Padres. The 'Dres had the Dodgers right where they anted them as "Bulldog" James Shields had a shutout going into the 7th and a 2-0 lead until this happened...

Dodgers OF Andre Ethier takes Shield's for a Solo Blast breaking up a 2-0 shutout and more importantly for the Dodgers it got them to within a run.  Then in the 8th with the score still 2-1 Friars it was A-Gon doubling home who else Yasiel Puig as Shields was in the showers after seven and now off the hook for a "W"!

With both Pens holding up through the 9th and into the 12th it was Adrian Gonzalez dba A-Gon again this time singling home Alberto Callaspo and Enrique Hernandez for a 4-2 lead. Dodgers Captan Save-A-Game Kenley Jansen strikes out the first two hitters he faced with former Dodgers Star Mat Kemp singling off him. Then Jansen gets Friars Yonder Alonso to "Pop Out" at 3rd for the 4-2 "W" and a 2-1 Dodgers Series win.

LAD moves to 37-26 while the new Friars fall to 32-33...
