The Boston Red Sox no doubt have their "Ace' of the future as Red Sox LHP Eduardo Rodriguez was flying through that Twins line up. "E-Rod" goes seven scattering two hits and giving up a run as he walked two and struck out seven. It was a 3rd frame "Bomb" off the Ash, Maple, or Bamboo of Twinkies second baseman Brian Dozier that put the Twins only run on the board on "E-Rod".

The Red Sox put a run up in the 1st, 3rd, and 4th before Sox shortstop Xander Bogaerts goes two-RBI single in the 5th making it 5-1 Carmines after five. Twinkies starter Phil Hughes lasted just 4 1/3 frames as he gives up five runs on eleven hits.

It was Bogaerts leading the charge for the Carmines going 3 for 4 with 2 RBI and a run scored. Both Hanley Ramirez and David "Papi" Ortiz go go 2 for 4 with an RBI each. The Twinkies other two runs came of the bat of Eduardo Escobar as he goes two-run HR in the 9th.

The Red Sox with the win moves to 24-29 while the Twinkies fall to 30-21 as "E-Rod" moves to 2-0 for the Bo Sox in 2015...
