Cubs starter Tsuyoshi Wada was spotted three runs in the 1st off of a Miguel Montero three-run blast. That 3-0 lead didn't last a half of frame as the Cincy Red Stockings came right back in their half of the 2nd and Cincy starting pitcher Michael Lorenzen gets a two RBI triple making it 3-2 Cubbies.
Chicago would then get a solo Bomb from Dexter Fowler making it 4-2 after three as Cincy starter Lorenzen would last just 4 1/3 frames allowing six runs on five hits and taking the loss. Red Stockings Chris Dominguez go solo Big Fly in the 4th making it 4-3 only to see the North Siders in the 5th score on a Kris Bryant RBI double and an error from Red Stockings back stop Brayan Pena.
Wada would not figure into the decision as Travis Wood would get the "W" followed by Cubbies Captain Save-A-Game Hector Rondon grabbing save #11. Yes the Right Field Seats at Wrigley were open for business and did that make a world of difference as Wrigley finally looked packed and ready for the Show for 2K15.
Cubbies move to 32-36 while the Red Stockings fall to 27-32...
