The Tennessee Titans need to get back to running the Pigskin and all that starts with back Chris Johnson. They reinforced that notion by drafting 'Bama Mammoth Offensive Guard Chance Warmack and getting Bills OG Andy Levitre in Free Agency. They have more than capable wide outs in Nate Washington and Kenny Britt who could be a Top 10 WR on Sunday if he can stay out of trouble. They also have talented depth at wide out in Kendall Hunter and 2013 2nd rounder WR Justin Hunter of Rocky Top. It's all about QB Jake Locker as it stops and starts with the QB and why not as it's "A QB Driven League" right!

On the Defense they have pieces in place as they have to get back to winning up front. Defensive End Derrick Morgan can be really good but they are waiting for him to arrive. The Backers are solid and led by Akeem Ayers as the secondary is their strength led by Pro-Bowl caliber safety Michael Griffin. They also add SS Bernard Pollard from the Ravens as he has forwarded some blank checks to the NFL League Offices on his behalf. If that D wins upfront thy have a chance to make a little noise in the AFC South...just a little.

Key Players

Offense

QB Jake Locker (pictured right)
RB CJ2K
WR Kenny Britt
LT Roos
LG Levitre (213 FA Pick Up Bills)
RG Chance Warmack (2013 1st Rd Pick 'Bama)

Defense

DE D. Morgan
DE K. Wimbley
LB A. Ayers
LB Z. Brown
CB J. McCourty
SS Pollard
FS M. Griffith
CB A. Verner

On Offense that O-Line should be physical upfront with the additions of Warmack and Levitre. Tackle Roos is a good one as well as CJ2k should be able to get loose some in 2013. Locker needs that running game to be stout as less is best dealing with him.

Defensively they will lean heavy on the Backers and Secondary as that is the strength of the Titans. Someone in that interior portion of the D-Line has to step up for the Titans to be Physical at the point of attack and on paper I see none of that. It's easy top say but to live it on Sunday...we will see.

Key 2013 Schedule Dates

Sep 8 @ Steelers
Sep 15 @ Texans
Oct 6 vs Chiefs
Oct 13 @ Seahawks
Oct 20 vs 49ers
Nov 3 @ Rams
Nov 14 vs Colts
Dec 1 @ Colts
Dec 8 @ Broncos
Dec 29 vs Texans

The Schedule is tough and those games in the NFC West and four games versus the Texans and Colts in the Division have me thinking a few things not in their favor.

Projected 3rd in the AFC South 7-9
