The Chicago Sky needed a huge effort from all hands on deck with Rook Star Elena Delle Donne out with a concussion. Never fear #GeauxLADYTigers of LSU former All-American Sylvia Fowles took charge of that notion.

Behind a "Monster in the WNBA" 32 points and fifteen boards from Fowles the Sky avenge an earlier loss to the Mystics right before the break 85-78. The score was 44-44 at the break and that 23-16 3rd frame paid dividends for the Sky as they use that to beat the Mystics by seven.

Fowles was 10-14 from the field and 12 -15 from the charity stripe as well as blocking five shots. Joining Fowles was Temera Young (13 pts) and Swin Cash (10pts) as they filled in the stat sheet for the missing Delle Donne. The Sky needed all that 32 from Fowles as they shot a dismal 1 for 14 from the Arc. Matee Ajavon.
The Mystics were led by 19 points from

The Sky with the "W" take sole possession of first in the East. The Sky though turn right around and head to Indy for "Date Night" with the Fever on Saturday August 3rd. Will Delle Donne play well she is a game-time decision.
