The Texas Rangers knew it coming about the suspension of All-Star OF Nelson Cruz and they get a solid deal for this year and next. The Rangers through numerous Media Outlets have acquired former All-Star OF Alex Rios of the South Siders. A solid pick up and a much-needed right-handed bat for the Rangers. Rios rejuvenated his career in Chi City as the Blue Birds waited and waited for him to rise to the top. What Rios brings is a base stealer, speed, excellent leather, and can still play in Center field.  As of August 9th, 2013 Rios' Numbers were a .277 avg w/ 12 homer runs 55 ribbies and 26 thefts for a 32-year old and that gaudy numbers on the base path. Rangers doing things with the Black Card in Chi City...first to the North Side to get Garza of the Cubbies an now the South Side to get Rios of the Pale Hose. Next Up Derrick Rose playing for the Mavs....and @Swish41 goes nuts!

The Pittsburgh Steelers lose another to the receiving corps in 2013 Free Agent pick up Matt Spaeth. Lisfranc Injury to the foot will reportedly sideline him some 8-10 weeks. The Steelers are rail thin at the Tight End position and look for them to pick up another one or two here in the next few days. Tight End and Steelers 2012 Team M.V.P. Heath Miller is already on the PUP list through Week 6 and it will most likely be longer than that. Where is Super-Sized Eric Green when you need him.
