Look what blew into Wrigleyville to take on the North Siders for a four game set "A Whole New Blue". The L.A. Dodgers riding the hottest wave in the show and currently 2 1/2 games up on the 2nd place D-Backs in the NL West. The Cubbies are playing good hardball and some of their best hardball in the last few years. They have decided to go young but it will hopefully payoff later on as the Cubs Faithful have been saying for the most part, " In Theo...We Trust" and that is Cubs GM Theo Epstein. Meanwhile the Dodgers come in looking like an All-Star Team with big-time talent throughout. The Dodgers try to runaway with the NL West and the Cubbies try to play spoiler.
BOYS in BLUE @ Wrigleyville vs NORTH Siders an NL 4-Piece
August 1, 2013 8:05pm ET
LAD Nolasco (6-9) vs CHC Rusin (1-0)
August 2, 2013 4:05pm ET
LAD Ryu (9-3) vs CHC Wood (7-7)
August 3, 2013 4:05pm ET
LAD Capuano (3-6) vs CHC Samardzija (6-9)
August 4, 2013 2:20pm ET
LAD Greinke (8-3) vs CHC Villanueva (2-7)
The Cubs miss Kershaw as he went last night versus the Bronx Bombers in a no-decision. They will see Ryu and Greinke as they are the other top two of the Dodgers top three as they get Nolasco from the Fightin' Fish just two weeks ago. Both Wood and Samardzija will go in the middle games and that should prove in the Cubs Favor a tiny bit.
