It was a Hitter's Nightmare on Sunday and seeing some of these Pitchers two times a week will have you back on the farm playing out of the Apartment and Motel. Forget "Chicks dig the Long ball" I am going to paint corners, go 12 to 6 with the Local, slide my way from one side of the black to the other, and oh yeah look in the stands to see my Squeeze and reach back for that Express because we have to get to Date Night...I am Kershaw, Kid Felix, and Strasburg.

To Chavez Ravine...

The Rays had no shot getting to Dodgers Ace and arguably the #1 Arm in the Show as they lose 8-2 to the Dodgers. Clayton Kershaw not only went eight strong allowing two runs on three hits and striking out  eight. He helped his own cause by knocking in the first two Dodger runs. The Dodgers have Bread and it's going to take 10% of what they paid to get "A Whole New Blue" to keep their Highland, Texas Native in Chavez Ravine. Do the math 10% of $2 Billion is a cool $200 Big Ones...get'em Mr. Kershaw!

To Safeco in 206...

A forgotten man if you don't have to face him and do not tell the Brew Crew that as they felt the "Wrath of one Kid Felix on Sunday. Felix Hernandez went eight innings and allowed no Ducks to cross the dish as he allowed four hits and a free pass and fanned nine Brewers as they had seen enough about time Kid Felix hit the Showers after eight. The M's win 2-0 as thy haven;t had too much to smile about but they have Kid Felix and you don't.

To Nats Park....

Strasburg has had his worse season by his own admission but he is still young with a lot of Records to get and that Chip from the Fight for October". Well on Sunday he threw his first Complete Job Shutout of his Career and blanked the Phightin' Phils  6-0. Strasburg went nine and allowed four hits a free pass an sent ten Phils right back to the Hitting Coach asking, " What was that I missed?". Stars was on his game and I wonder if he is on a Pitch Count now that the Nats are some two weeks back of the NL East leading Braves?

It's that simple good hitting beat good Maple, Ash, or Bamboo....period and another Sunday at the Ball Park!
