The Baltimore Ravens backed into Winning Time and then went "Now Hot" on thew Neon Sign and went all the way to the Big Bowl and won it. What does Lead Man Harbaugh #Crab Cakes Edition do for an encore. GM Ozzie Newsome lost some folks and let a few good men walk and rebuilt the Ravens "D" with in a Charm City Minute! They gambled on paying Flacco in 2013 instead of 2012 and that almost backfired but they get it done. No Ray or Ed, Edd, and Eddy and the "D" appears to be at least on paper faster and younger. They have a real good 2013 Draft and shop with the Black Card to fill some immediate needs.
Offensively it starts with Ordinary Joe and the "Charm City Express" #27 Ray Rice. They trade WR Anquan Boldin and hand those duties to both WR Torrey Smith and Jacoby Jones. Center and O-Line Leader Matt Birk retires but they still have All-Pro and OG Marshal Yanda and LG Kelechi Osemele two of the best interior linemen on Sunday. Can that Offense be effective after losing Star Tight End Dennis Pitta for 2013 due to a Dislocated Hip?
Most organizations would've panicked losing Backer Danelle Ellerbe and OLB Paul Kruger when Ed Reed and Ray Lewis are gone but the Ravens didn't. They have smooth, calm, and collective GM Ozzie Newsome who methodically rebuilds that Ravens "D" through a Solid Draft and Free Agency. He gets Elvis Dumervil after Dumervil goes through Fax Machine Gate with #UnitedInOrange the Broncos. They also add Chris Canty from the G-Men on the D-Line to go with Mount Cody and Mr. Ngata. Backer Daryl Smith also cokes over and they get Stud Backer and 2013 2nd rounder Arthur Brown from K-State. On that back end they lose Reed but add Michael Huff a former Raider 1st Rounder and Corey Graham from the Bears at corner. LeDarius Webb is coming off ACL Surgery and they still have CB Jimmy Smith. Watch for 2013 Top Pick SS Matt Elam who is a Ex-Colt Bob Sanders Type. That "D" is still led by OLB/DE Terrell "T-Sizzle" Suggs.

Offensively the Ravens still have a Stout Run Game and a two-headed monster change of pace in Rice and Pierce. Flacco loses Pitta but has Options and they have to make Plays in the Vertical Game.
Defensively they still have Ngata and Suggs as they have changed out integral parts. Dumervil and Huff as well as Canty have to play Big as they fill some big shoes. That "D" is faster but are they better than the Steelers n Bengals "D" in 2013?
