The Baltimore Orioles come into the Bronx 4 1/2 games back of the AL East leading Carmines of the Hub. The Bronx Bombers come in six games back of the Carmines but 1 1/2 games back of the O's. Both are in a good position as we enter the All-Star Break here in a week and a half. Can the Yanks slow down O's First Baseman Chris Davis? Can the O's Pitchers stop the Yanks Top of the Order led by Ichiro and Robbie "Next in Line" Cano?
ORIOLES @ Bronx ZOO 3-Piece Post Holiday Explosion
July 5, 2013 7:05pm ET
BAL Gonzalez (6-3) vs NYY Nova (2-2)
July 6, 2013 1:05pm ET
BAL Tillman (10-2) vs NYY Pettitte (5-6)
July 7, 2013 1:05pm ET
BAL Hammel (7-5) vs NYY Hughes (4-7)
The O's have been riding the Bat of Davis and consistency on the Hill from the likes of Gonzalez, Tillman, Hammel, and Closer Jim Johnson. The Yanks have struggled by not getting consistency from the Lumber or the Bump but that might have changed when they held up Target Field in the Twin Cities for four straight. Regardless of whose doing what the Mission stays the same in..."Catch the Carmines".
