In a tale of one inning the Nats jumped on Marlins Starter Nathan Evoaldi for two runs in the top half of the first. With the Nats having Stephen "S2" Strasburg of the Potomac 2-Pack on the mound and his domination of the Fish everything was good for the Nats right? Some five ruins and in the first and two in the second the Nats and Starsburg were done. The Fish chase S2 in his shortest outing ever in the Show and the 2nd frame was behind a Marlins OF Giancarlo Stanton's 2-run bomb to open it up to a 7-3 ball game. S2's line was two innings pitched allowing seven runs on five hits and a bomb to Stanton. Eovaldi settles down after the rough first frame to get the win and go six innings and allow those three early runs as he struck out five and walked three. Marlins CF Ozell Ozuna led the Fish with three ribbies.

The Colorado Rockies say enough is enough as they draw a line at home plate forget the sand and say no Dodgers will score tonight. Rockies win 3-0 as they beat the Dodger Ace and All-Star in LHP Clayton Kershaw. Rockies RHP Juan Nicasio was brilliant as he went seven scoreless innings allowing three hits and completely shutting down that blazin' Dodgers Offense.  A good sign for the Rocks is that Shortstop Troy "Tulo" Tulowitzki is back in that line up and now we will see if its a two team or three team race in the NL West.

The Cleveland Indians stay just 2 1/2 games back as Tribe RHOP Corey Kluber shouts out the Royals 3-0. Kluber went 7 1/3 innings allowing three hits and striking out eight Royal hitters. Royals LHP Bruce Chen went six innings allowing one hit as he left the game when it was still scoreless. The Tribe put a crooked number three up in the bottom half of the 7th on a pinch-hit two-bagger by Center Fielder Michael Bourn. The Indians have a little bit of confidence and they are going to be right behind the Tigers for the duration.
