The Redbirds comes off of a sweep of the Phightin' Phils to end their successful home stand and Baseball Town USA is primed for another run in October. The Braves are coming in with the 4th best record in the NL and the three teams in front of them...the aforementioned Redbirds, Buccos, and Red Legs as they all hail from the Top-Heavy NL Central. The NL East leading Braves are coming off splitting four with the Amazins' but they lost more than that. RHP Tim "Huddie" Hudson is done for 2013 as he hit the bag awkwardly and broke his ankle and that is not good news for a Pitching Rotation that needs a few good pitchers to step up. Good thing for Braves they lead by eight games as the Redbirds have to keep winning as a bad week could place them in 3rd at week's end.

STL Wainright (13-5) vs ATL Minor (9-5)

STL Kelly (1-3) vs ATL Teheran (7-5)

STL Miller (10-6) vs ATL Medlen (6-10)
The Cardinals have what very few have and that is a Starting Rotation that has been the ATM of their Squad from day one. The Achilles Heel for the Braves has been their Offense and that something will give in this series.
Wainright and Miller are in the front and back with the Braves countering with Minor and Medlen front and back. The Game 2 in the middle should be in the Braves Favor with Teheran going.
