The Chicago Bulls Summer League Team in Vegas has played extremely well and they get their toughest test yet from the now 0-3 Rip City Blazers. The Bulls needed an Extra Frame to beat Rip City 80-78 but not before the Vegas Summer League Watchers got to see Bulls 2nds year PG Marquis Teague and Rip City Rookie Point Guard CJ McCollum go "Mano y Mano" and it was a sight to see.
Teague went for 25 points and 3 of 3 from the "Land of Plenty" and McCollum had a game-high 27 points and six helpers but also shot 8 for 25 from the field. The Bulls also get a nice performance from 2013 Top Pick Tony Snell of the Lobos as he had 14 points, six boards, and four helpers as he finally starts to show what's in his Tool Box outside of that Hammer. Bulls Leading Scorers in Vegas Drew Goudelock added eleven points as he shot just 4 of 13.
The Blazers also get a monster performance from 2012 Sac Kings Lottery Pick in Thomas "T-Rob" Robinson as he nest 12 points and grabs a "Family Pack" off the glass with eighteen boards.
The Bulls will get the #2 Seed as the Single-Elimination Tourney starts in Vegas. The Bulls are the #1 seed in the bottom bracket and they play the winner of the Knicks and Heat on Thursday June 18th. The Blazers will get the Hawks Tonight
and that winner plays the Morris Twins and the Suns on July 18th.
