The 2k18 Chicago Bears were rolling and with the Wild Card game coming to their House with Club Dub and the Disco Ball waiting to be Lit lookout. I was under the impression not only the Philadelphia Eagles had no shot but I was thinking these new "Monsters of the Midway" were going to a special place called the Big Bowl in A.T.L. for Super Bowl LIII. I missed and #DaBears unfortunately missed as well as the Legend of Nick Foles continues in Philly...
Behind a gutty drive by Air Pederson and Eagles QB Nick Foles at the wheel with my dude Carson Wentz (he is a baaaaaad man as well an the future of "Monsters Inside the Pocket" at Bluedude Sportstalk) out the Eagles hit the Twittisphere talking #FlyEaglesFly and stun the Windy City and their beloved Bears.
Foles connected on 25 of 40 attempts for 266 yards and 2 TDs and I thought the two INTs would comeback to haunt him and the Eagles and they did not. Give Chicago credit they pushed the Eagles to be one-dimensional as Birds of Philly gained only 42 yards on 23 carries and it wasn't like the eagles just abandoned the running attack.
Chicago second year QB Micthell Trubisky played extremely well throwing 26 for 43 and 303 yards and a TD. The Bears managed to get 65 yards on the ground as Bears #1 WR Allen Robinson was a one man wrecking crew with 143 yards on ten balls as he was targeted 13 times. Air Nagy was doing what it does it just came down to the Kicking Game and the Bears PK Cody Parkey just could not close the deal and it happens. His kick looking like it lacked some extra juice hit the left upright as a shocked Bears Nation looked on with Eagles Nation in spots of green jumping up and down.
Off Seasons are always long when your team doesn't win and there will be unfortunately 31 out of 32 teams that will have long off seasons with one grabbing the #Fight4Vince trophy and the other thinking what went wrong in the Big Bowl.
Eagles now move onto Sunday Afternoon against the New Orleans Saints in the Superdome...
