All this talk and bickering back and forth the Boston Celtics have to figure out what they want to be and who they are. Are they at their best when Kyrie Irving turns into Uncle Drew and goes crazy? Or when the Celts take the "All Hands on the Hardwood" Approach as Uncle Drew bailed them out tonight.
A game that was back and forth for most of the night came down to the 4th frame as both Celtics Point God Kyrie Irving and Toronto Raptors star SF Kawhi "Klaw" Leonard took turns doing what they do. In the end it was Kyrie hitting the Phone Booth and out came Uncle Drew with a 27-piece with 18 helpers but seven turnovers.
Boston pulled away late as the raptors followed three straight trips going bad possessions. It was a Jayson Tatum (16 pts 10 rebs) Money Ball when the Raptors were up 104-103 that tuned the C's back into the lead 106-104 as Boston closed on a 11-4 run with Big Al Horford also playing a huge role late adding 24 points. Gordon Hayward chipped in with 18 points off that Celtic Bench and that was big.
Toronto gets 33 points from the "Klaw" with "Air Congo" Serge Ibaka adding 22 points and hauling in ten boards. Danny Green dropped 15 with Kyle Lowry with 10 as both Norman Powell and Greg Monroe had 11 points apiece off that Raptors Bench.
If the C's play like this they will be a tough out and maybe even the favorite with all that firepower. Only time will tell but the Dinosaurs gets a dose of what the Green Team is all a bout when they are playing as "One" and with Uncle Drew at the controls...the best in the East!
