The Duke Blue Devils slowly but surely took apart the visiting Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets at Cameron Indoor in Durham, North Carolina but not after the Yellow Jackets gave the Dukies all they wanted early on.Tech led 29-27 at the break and the Blue Devils did not get a double digit lead until the 8 minute mark at 52-42. Too much Krzyzewskiville Cape Crusaders in R.J. Barrett (24 pts 11 rebs 3 asst 2 blks) and Zion Williamson (22 pts 7 rebs) as like most the Ramblin' Wreck had no answer for the two 2k19 Top two picks in the 2k19 NBA Draft.
Tech compounded things shooting just 3 for 10 from Charlotte and 42% from the field. Throw in some 19 turnovers Tech had no shot just looking at their numbers. Duke if they have an Achilles heel they shot 2 for 21 from Raleigh and they must get Cam Reddish going and Alex O'Connell the best shooter on Duke.
The Blue Devils move to 17-2 overall in 6-1 in ACC Play. The Ramblin' Wreck falls to 11-9 and 3-4 in ACC Play and lead man Josh Pastner has to start getting all that Atlanta, GA Talent to stay home.
